Katy Perry used her performance at the Grammy Awards on Sunday to shamelessly show her support for the Democratic Party while simultaneously trashing President Donald Trump and the United States Constitution. However, she likely did not know there would be a nasty surprise waiting for her after taking the stage to trash American values and voters.
The pop star stepped out onto the stage to sing “Chained to the Rhythm,” but she wasn’t clad in one of her usual racy ensembles, though this one was just as offensive. Instead of a bra with built-in whipped cream cans or candy-coated lingerie, Perry donned a white pantsuit in solidarity with failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, whom she campaigned tirelessly for. That’s not all, though. She also had the audacity to give her girl Elizabeth Warren a nod and destroy the Constitution while she was at it.

Katy Perry wore a “Persist” armband and white pantsuit at the Grammys on Sunday.
Perry’s armband quickly garnered attention on Twitter, as it likely referenced the Senate voting to silence Sen. Elizabeth Warren last week.
“She was warned. She was given an explanation. Nevertheless, she persisted,” Sen. Mitch McConnell said Tuesday, a phrase that was picked up by Warren supporters as a badge of honor.
Perry performed “Chained to the Rhythm” next to a fence. Near the end of the song, the fence broke into pieces and had the Constitution superimposed over it.
At the end of the performance she yelled, “No hate!”
The singer campaigned with Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton throughout the campaign. Clinton wore a white pantsuit when she accepted the Democratic nomination for president in July, in what was seen as a nod to the women’s movement. [Source: Washington Examiner]
Well, it wasn’t long before viewers took to Twitter to let Perry know what they thought of her blasphemous little charade, and they didn’t hold back.
.@katyperry performance last night was the final straw of her career. No talent, can't sing or dance. Washed up. Sad!

@Bubbette14 …for every Meryl Streep, Ashton Kutcher, Katy Perry, etc, there's three more people out there who did vote for Trump…..

As if the social media lashing weren’t brutal enough, Perry was also forced to watch as another lesser-known singer completely showed her up.
Joy Villa took a much different approach to the music industry’s biggest night by hitting the red carpet in a red, white, and blue gown emblazoned with Donald Trump’s campaign slogan and name. Almost instantly, Villa’s record sales shot up a staggering 18,106,633%. Hopefully, her liberal peers took note.
