Kirsten Gillibrand Talks About Sexist & Racist, Makes Unintended Admission On TV

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) recently made an appearance on CNN, and she had plenty to say on the topic of sexism and racism. However, Gillibrand should have been more careful with her choice of words. She inadvertently made an unintended admission that Democrats wouldn’t want you to hear.

Democrats are always preaching diversity and inclusion, but like everything else they say, that’s just empty rhetoric. In practice, the positions of power in the Democratic Party are reserved almost exclusively for rich old white men.

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) is thinking about running for president in 2020, but she had an “aha” moment on CNN when she realized there may be no room for a female candidate. It dawned on her that the party of diversity is actually pretty racist and sexist.

A recent CNN poll shows that all of the 2020 frontrunners for the Democrats are white men. Liberals voters were asked who they would likely support in the next presidential election. Former VP Joe Biden came out on top with 30%, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders came in next with 14%, and hipster doofus Beto O’Rourke rounded out the top 3 with 9%. Gillibrand was barely on the radar with only 1% of support.

Kirsten Gillibrand was on CNN with host Van Jones when she was asked what she thought about the white guys dominating the polls for Democrats.

“In a party as diverse as ours, does it worry you to see the top three being white guys?” Jones asked.

“Yes,” replied Gillibrand. “I aspire for our country to recognize the beauty of our diversity at some point in the future and I hope someday we have a woman president.”

That is another way of saying that her own party doesn’t recognize diversity. How can the country elect a diverse president when the Democrats are only running white dudes?

“I love the fact that Barack Obama was our president for eight years, I hope more people of color not only aspire [but] win the presidency, because that’s what makes America so extraordinary, that we are all of that, we are everything, and I think a more inclusive America is a stronger America,” Gillibrand said.

That is another way of saying the Democratic Party is neither strong nor extraordinary because they are completely lacking in diversity. Hey, these are Gillibrand’s rules: strength and extraordinariness are dependent upon diversity, and since the Democrats lack diversity, they are weak and common.

Gillibrand isn’t the brightest bulb on the tree, so it’s unclear if she was actually aware that she stumbled upon the fact that Democrats are racist and sexist. Maybe she had an epiphany or perhaps her head was filled with memories of the cat videos she watches on YouTube.

It should be noted that Gillibrand is white. Even if there were any voters out there who supported her, it still wouldn’t solve the lack of diversity in her party. When Democrats say something should be done, in this case bringing more diversity, what they really mean is other people should do it, not them. Since Gillibrand is a good Democrat, it would be okay to lack diversity if she were whitening up the top of the polls.

It’s also worth mentioning that Democrats place more importance on race and gender than ideas and qualifications.

In the 2016 presidential race, the GOP had a diverse group of candidates including Indian American Bobby Jindal, African American Ben Carson, female Carly Fiorina, and Hispanics Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio. On the Democrats’ side of things, they had Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Martin O’Mally, Jim Webb, and Lincoln Chafee. The Democrats’ field was whiter than a polar bear eating vanilla ice-cream in a snowstorm, and it looks like they are planning the same thing for 2020.
