However, it wasn’t long before she was utterly destroyed by those who are sick and tired of Hollywood’s leftist crap.
According to LifeZette, actress Patricia Arquette used her acceptance speech during Sunday night’s Screen Actors Guild Awards to thank special counsel Robert Mueller for his work in investigating President Donald Trump.
Winning for the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series award, Arquette thanked her fellow actors and crew — and also Mueller and “everyone working to make sure that we have sovereignty for the United States of America.”
Robert Mueller is looking into whether the Trump campaign coordinated with Russia ahead of the 2016 presidential election and whether the president obstructed the investigation on the matter. The investigation has been ongoing for quite some time now, yet it has not led to any charges against the president.
In short, the Mueller investigation has been a very expensive taxpayer-funded witch-hunt to satisfy Democrats who are still miffed that Hillary Clinton lost the election. But that didn’t stop Patricia Arquette from getting on her high horse and using her platform at the SAG Awards on Sunday to applaud Mueller’s efforts.
Patricia Arquette, who recently dropped an f-bomb while accepting best actress at the Golden Globes for “Escape at Dannemora,” dropped a Mueller-bomb during Sunday’s Screen Actor’s Guild Awards.
The actress thanked Special Counselor Robert Mueller and “everyone working to make sure that we have sovereignty for the United States of America.”
She won the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series for the TV movie. She also thanked her fellow actors and crew. [Source: Fox News]
The people who actually tune in to watch these awards shows were less than thrilled about Arquette’s political stunt, however.
“I have no use for these awards shows. Nothing more than a leftist party. Hollywood can fall off the earth and it won’t bother me,” commented Facebook user Danny Mullen.
“Well the award shows used to be entertaining to watch – now to me it is nothing more than trash and garbage talk from those wannabe actors – disgusting,” echoed Marjorie Neumiller.
“You would think that after more than 2 years, they would find something else to cry about. This hate wagon is full, please stand in place and another will be along quickly,” joked Angelia Landry Coon.
“Did anyone watch it? Does anyone else find it odd there are so many self-congratulatory Hollywood award shows?” wondered MK Maynard.
“These award shows are just a bunch of conceited celebs patting each other on the back for getting to live an elitist lifestyle and shame America!” lamented Bill Pennington.
At some point, it will no longer make financial sense to air these awards shows on television, as it seems that every year fewer and fewer people tune in to watch them. And can you blame them? The values displayed are so sorely out-of-touch with the views of average Americans that it’s like being slapped in the face for hours on end.
When will these leftist actors learn that the last thing we want is a lecture on their political leanings? For some reason, they think that just because they are famous, they are entitled to pontificate on issues they know little to nothing about. Perhaps it is time to take away their platform.
