While enjoying sanctuary in Maryland, an illegal alien and another minority teen kidnapped a 13-year-old classmate at knifepoint and brought her to an empty apartment. However, the state defied liberalism to demand his immediate deportation after heinous video footage surfaced of the horrific gift with which they left her.
Although sadistic criminals constantly use the left’s compassion as protection from our nation’s laws, their propaganda successfully garners the support of bleeding-heart liberals. Despite relentlessly campaigning for these illegals to remain in the U.S., these activists aren’t usually the ones taking care of said aliens once they’re here to stay. Unfortunately, it often takes the effects of their policies hitting their own backyard before they realize that their way doesn’t work.
When illegal alien Victor Antonio Gonzalez-Guttierres entered Maryland, he was protected from deportation thanks to the state’s indecision on federal immigration legislation. Of course, the sanctuary not only provided him with the opportunity to live out the American dream but to further abuse our laws for his own sick fantasies.
The Frederick News-Post reports that 19-year-old Gonzalez-Guttierres and his friend, 17-year-old Edgar Chicas-Hernandez, kidnapped at knifepoint a 13-year-old, who is reportedly their classmate, and dragged her to an apartment in Frederick on September 1. Unsatisfied with simply terrorizing the child, the pair then spent hours gang-raping her while a third accomplice, who is still on the run, recorded the heinous sexual assaults on a cell phone.
“This is very, very rare in my experience,” said Detective Joe Palkovic, an assistant supervisor in the Frederick Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division. “The violence of it and the nature of the crime, the fact that this involves someone laying in wait, kidnapping the victim and then taking her to a separate location to rape her, is very rare.”
After her attackers were finished, they let the girl go and informed her that the abuse was commissioned by a younger female classmate, who reportedly denies any involvement. Although the teens threatened her not to go to the police, the victim identified Gonzalez-Guttierres and Chicas-Hernandez but failed to describe the third attacker because his face was covered.
“The third, unidentified man mentioned in the charging documents has not been charged. … As the investigation continues, however, we do anticipate there being additional charges in this case,” said Lt. Clark Pennington, commander of the police department’s Criminal Investigations Division.
The pair face kidnapping, rape, sodomy, and assault charges, and police are still searching for the third suspect.
Despite Maryland wavering between stances for and against being a sanctuary city, Frederick police contacted federal authorities to enforce immigration laws, leading to the possible deportation of Gonzales-Guttierres, who will be tried as an adult, WJLA reports.
“ICE encountered Victor Antonio Gonzalez-Gutierres at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center April 24 after his arrest on local charges and issued him a notice to appear in immigration court. Gonzalez-Gutierres posted immigration bond April 27. ICE has lodged an immigration detainer with Frederick County after his most recent arrest on criminal charges,” according to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) statement. “ICE lodges detainers on aliens who have been arrested on local criminal charges when the agency has probable cause to believe an alien is removable from the United States. These detainers serve as a legally-authorized request, upon which a law enforcement agency may rely, to continue to maintain custody of an alien for up to 48 hours so that ICE may assume custody for removal purposes. Pursuant to ICE policy, all ICE detainers are submitted with an accompanying administrative arrest warrant or warrant of removal depending upon the circumstances of the individual case.”
It is unclear if Gonzales-Guttierres will be deported as many illegal criminals are granted appeals that not only allow them to remain in the U.S. but ensure lesser sentencing as well. His hearing has yet to be determined.
This seemingly harmless teen, who could easily be described by the left as an “unaccompanied minor” or “dreamer” or “child refugee,” is no less than an illegal adult male who was placed among our vulnerable children in a taxpayer-funded public school. He enjoyed the privileges reserved for citizen taxpayers despite mocking our laws by residing in the U.S. illegally, not to mention his future criminal activity. In fact, he was known to local authorities yet allowed to continue breaking our laws until finally catching their attention with the unspeakable abuse of a young girl.
It’s common logic to believe that if a foreigner doesn’t respect our laws enough to enter our country legally, they likely won’t respect our other laws. Of course, our laws aren’t in place only to protect our nation’s citizens but also those immigrants who’ve gone through the legal process. Unfortunately, illegal immigration is a slap in the face of the legal immigrants who make our country the great melting pot that it is today.
