The 81-year-old Congresswoman who infamously called for leftists to harass Trump supporters wherever they see them is now accusing the president of setting her up to be killed by “dog-whistling to white supremacists.” Well, patriotic Americans quickly made poor Maxine regret her salacious remarks. You’ll love this.
Maxine Waters started her impeachment campaign immediately after President Donald Trump was inaugurated. This is important to note since the Founding Fathers meant for impeachment to only be considered in the direst of consequences when the president was found guilty of ” treason, bribery, high crimes and or misdemeanors.”
In fact, during Bill Clinton’s impeachment hearings, Mad Maxine defiantly told Americans to “send a message through the ballot box, that’s what we do in this democracy.” She was right. Impeachment isn’t a weapon to overturn an election and the will of the American people.
That was 21 years ago. Fast forward to June 2018, and ole Maxine has changed her tune.
“Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere,” Waters told a crowd.
Maxine Waters is now so unhinged she sounded psychotic on MSNBC yesterday.
“Congresswoman, do people call you when the president calls them names? Because you’re far beyond that. I think you were one of his earliest targets,” the MSNBC host said to Waters.
“[Trump] shouldn’t be going after anybody. He’s a president of the United States of America. He is setting some of us up to be killed. I have death threats constantly. There are a number of people who have been convicted for threatening to kill me. And when he does that, he’s dog-whistling to the white supremacists, the KKK, and the dangerous people,” Maxine ranted.
“We have stories about many of those white supremacists who do nothing but practice how they are going to be involved in a civil war and fight against its government. And this president is irresponsible in so many ways, aside from making us a target of these white supremacists and those who would kill us in a civil war. Some of us would be the first to be killed. And so I want to tell you, whether it’s Maxine Waters or whether it’s a whistle-blower, he has no business doing that,” Waters exclaimed.
When asked if Trump is “endangering people’s safety,” Waters said, “Oh, absolutely. I mean, I can’t go to the grocery store anymore by myself. I have to pay for security all the time. I can’t move around the country without security. And the whistle-blower is protected by law. And he should not be talking about he wants to interview them. If he knew anything about law, he wouldn’t be so ignorant as to think that somehow anybody’s going to allow him to interview a whistle-blower.”

Americans immediately gave Mad Maxine a rude awakening.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said historians will someday look back at House Democrats’ impeachment inquiry as the “theater of the absurd.”
“Today the Republican majority is not judging the president with fairness, but impeaching him with a vengeance,” then-House Minority Leader Pelosi declared in December 1998 about Bill Clinton’s impeachment.
She continued, “In the investigation of the president, fundamental principles which Americans hold dear — fairness, privacy, checks, and balances — have been seriously violated and why? Because we are here today because the Republicans in the House are paralyzed with hatred of President Clinton. … Until the Republicans free themselves of that hatred, our country will suffer.”
For those who were too young to remember the 1998 impeachment of Clinton, Newt Gingrich was the GOP House Speaker who was tasked with overseeing the proceedings. “In the case of Clinton, he had actually broken the law. He had committed a felony in a case involving sexual predation against an employee. If that happened today, people would be going crazy. That’s not the case here [with Trump],” said Gingrich.
Even though Gingrich waited until he could do impeachment the right way, by actually following the rules and holding a House vote when he had bipartisan support, it still was not politically prudent. Clinton’s impeachment came back to bite the GOP with polls indicating the majority of the American people seeing it as an unneeded distraction and a waste of valuable time.
With the presidential election just a little more than a year away, Democrats like Maxine Waters are so desperate to sell impeachment. But what they are really saying is they don’t trust the American people. If President Trump is really this big bad man, then how can he possibly be re-elected?
This was never really about Trump. It’s about the Democrats who are terrified knowing if Trump gets four more years, the swamp where they enrich each other with kickbacks and corrupt dirty deals, which made many of them millionaires, will be completely drained. Well, the American people are on to this charade, and it sure looks like this time they are fighting a battle they can’t win.
