The Congresswoman was freaking out, saying Trump has “put us in harm’s way,” as she urged all Americans not to tune in. According to the 80-year-old Democrat, there’s no need to bother watching it because Trump’s “not worthy of being listened to.” Well, she really regretted making these ridiculous claims. You’ll love this.
The State of the Union address is one way the president outlines where our country is at and where it is going. Over the years it has become a highly partisan event with the party in power showcasing their policies while they connect to the American people.
“Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) said that she hopes Americans switch off their televisions during President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address Tuesday evening,” Breitbart reports.
“I don’t even know why he wants to come and give the State of the Union,” Waters said angrily in an interview with ESSENCE on Monday. “The state of the union under him has not been good and he has been divisive, and I think he’s putting us all in harm’s way! And so he is not worthy of being listened to.”

What’s with all the anger coming from Auntie Maxine over a simple speech? She is really freaking out about the SOTU. And just how is Trump “putting us all in harm’s way?”
Well, Maxine is like a parrot who is dumber than a box of rocks and forgets that “talking point” no longer is being used by the Democrats. The whole “putting us in harm’s way” excuse was a Pelosi talking point all Democrats were to parrot to stop the SOTU while the government shutdown was going on.
“Sadly, given the security concerns and unless government re-opens this week, I suggest that we work together to determine another suitable date after the government has re-opened for this [SOTU] address,” Pelosi wrote in a letter to the president.
Well, many Americans will see Mad Maxine seething over the president’s address and know there really must be something special that the old bat doesn’t want us to see. If wacky Waters is warning Americans not to watch it, you can bet that’s enough to make many Americans tune in.

Then, Twitter user “Inspector Red Bear” posted, “Elected reps who cannot or will not listen to the opposition should step down. If you are unwilling to even listen to the other side then you will be unable to work with the other side, i.e. unable to do the job for which you were elected. Hating the other side has to stop!”
So true. Maxine Waters warning Americans not to watch the SOTU proves she is not capable of doing her job. Something most of us already know.

There’s a good reason President Trump dubbed the California Congresswoman, “Low IQ Maxine.” She is spitting mad in that clip as she warns us all to not bother watching the SOTU because according to the sage from South Central L.A., Trump’s “not worthy of being listened to.”
It’s laughable. He is the President of the United States, and for that very reason alone he is worthy of being listened to, regardless of one’s political persuasion. Mad Maxine is so scared of what Americans will hear. She knows her party has no policies to offer us, and so all they can do is stir up racist claims and play identity politics. Well, Maxine just lost again. Americans will tune in and hear President Trump remind us all why we elected him in 2016.
