United States Women’s National Team soccer star and World Cup Champion Megan Rapinoe believes she is converting people to her anti-American stance. She’s that full of herself.
She spoke to Anderson Cooper on CNN this week and discussed a variety of issues, including her National Anthem protests and her rabid anti-Trump stances.
“I think that protest is not comfortable ever,” she said. “It’s going to force people to look inward and question everything they thought that they knew [about America]. Being a gay American, I know what it means to look at the flag and not have it protect all of your liberties.”
The audacity of this far-left soccer player to think she’s impacting the way you and I think about America, which is the greatest country on earth, regardless of what brainwashed leftists think.
Rapinoe was asked, after that decision, why she was protesting the Anthem as she decided to stand with her hands at her sides.
“Taking care of others, standing up for yourself and other people if they don’t have the ability to do so, is very uniquely American,” she said. “I don’t think anybody can deny the horrors of racism and Jim Crow and mass incarceration and what’s happening on the southern border and gay rights and women’s rights.”
What year is Rapinoe living in? Jim Crow? We had the Civil Rights movement in the 1960s. It’s over. America is not a racist nation. Not even close.
She also wrote an op-ed in The Players Tribune that, she said, explained her stance on protesting The National Anthem.
“I have chosen to kneel because in the time it has taken me to write this article, many more Americans have been lost to senseless violence,” she said. “I have chosen to kneel because not two miles from my hotel in Columbus, Ohio, on the night before our USWNT match against Thailand, a 13-year-old boy named Tyre King was fatally shot by a police officer. I have chosen to kneel because I simply cannot stand for the kind of oppression this country is allowing against its own people.”
What Rapinoe fails to tell you is the 13-year-old boy named Tyre King was out with three others robbing people in 2016 and the victims informed police they had a gun. Officers immediately responded and sure enough, King drew what looked like a black handgun when the officers approached him.
He was shot and killed. It turned out to be a BB gun but was a replica of a real handgun. The Grand Jury cleared the officer involved in the shooting last April, CBS News reported.
Megan Rapinoe sees herself running for political office. Even the presidency isn’t off-limits.
Rachel Maddow, a huge fangirl of the leftist soccer player, interviewed her this week. After informing Rapinoe about a left-wing Public Policy Polling poll that found Rapinoe beating Trump by a point in a hypothetical 2020 presidential matchup, Maddow said: “So, I mean, I don’t think you’re going to announce that you’re running for president.”
Rapinoe responded: “Yes. No, I’m not.”
When Maddow asked what is ahead for Rapinoe, she said: “My girlfriend actually just said, you need to be careful. They’re going to ask you to run for president. You need to slow your roll.”
Maddow said she was not asking Rapinoe to run but “just suggesting that others are polling on it.”
“They’re saying, people are saying it,” Rapinoe responded as Maddow agreed. “I don’t know, to be honest. I think things have changed dramatically in these, you know, just these couple of days. I’m excited to kind of dig in and see really where I can take this.”
Well, Americans weren’t excited to see where Rapinoe will take her newfound fame. Most agree, her fifteen minutes of fame are about up.
“What an obnoxious character. I’m tired of her. I’m sure some of her teammates are secretly tired of her too. They need to put the spotlight on the whole team,” tweeted Twitter user “Natha 89.”

Megan Rapinoe has rubbed conservative Americans the wrong way. Her utter contempt for America based on falsehoods is the reason. Not her sexual identity which is what the mainstream media claims.
Conservative Americans and Independents see an entitled soccer player playing the same game the far-left Democrats are playing: identity politics. Ben Shapiro, the conservative writer and podcast host was blasted for saying Rapinoe is just an obnoxious spoiled player who forgets she is living the good life.
No one is discriminating against her. Shapiro made the point that Rapinoe and her team doesn’t bring in as much revenue as the men’s team, so that’s why they don’t make as much money as the men. Luckily, Rapinoe’s fifteen minutes of infamy is almost up, and no one will miss her.
