Meghan Says Trump’s Threatened By Her Dad’s Greatness, POTUS Torches Her With Truth

Meghan McCain went ballistic over an unreliable report that claimed while President Donald Trump was in Japan last weekend he ordered the Navy to make sure the warship USS John McCain “was out of sight.” McCain went off on Trump saying the president won’t let her dad “rest in peace” and claimed he was “threatened by the greatness” of her father’s life. That’s when Trump torched Meghan with the truth. You’ll love this.

Meghan McCain was furious after she read a report saying President Trump intentionally ordered the Navy to make sure the USS John McCain was “out of sight” as he visited Japan. This information came from reporter Rebecca Ballhaus, who is a noted Trump-hater.

“The White House wanted the U.S. Navy to move ‘out of sight’ the warship USS John S. McCain ahead of President Trump’s visit to Japan, according to an email reviewed by The Wall Street Journal,” Ballhaus reported. “The ship was named after the father and grandfather of the late senator—a war hero who became a frequent target of Mr. Trump’s ire—and the senator’s name was added to the ship in 2018.”

Ballhaus added: “A tarp was hung over the ship’s name ahead of the president’s trip, according to photos reviewed by the Journal, and sailors were directed to remove any coverings from the ship that bore its name.”

This story immediately went viral, and that’s when Meghan McCain went nuts. “Trump is a child who will always be deeply threatened by the greatness of my dad’s incredible life,” McCain tweeted. “There is a lot of criticism of how much I speak about my dad, but nine months since he passed, Trump won’t let him RIP. So I have to stand up for him. It makes my grief unbearable.”

Well, it didn’t take President Trump long to respond. The president was undoubtedly scratching his head, knowing he did no such thing. Trump didn’t waste his time to research where the initial story came from. However, he knew he never ordered the USS John McCain to be “out of sight” nor was a tarp hanging over the warship when he was there.

“I was not informed about anything having to do with the Navy Ship USS John S. McCain during my recent visit to Japan. Nevertheless, @FLOTUS and I loved being with our great Military Men and Women – what a spectacular job they do!” tweeted Trump. But that’s not all.

That’s when the whole truth started to come out. We figure the president was pretty miffed over what he knew was a fake news story that the leftists had successfully posted and now was going viral. You can imagine Americans wondering why Trump would act so crazy over a warship.

So, all of a sudden, the official Navy Chief of Infomation Twitter account, which had been dormant, reactivated to set the record straight.

“So, ummm… Hey! We’re back! (I was told I should have led with that). I have re-activated this account to help us share info with the public about our @USNavy. If you aren’t interested in what America’s Navy is doing or our Sailors, then it is about to get less exciting for you,” tweeted Navy Chief of Information.

“The name of USS John S. McCain was not obscured during the POTUS visit to Yokosuka on Memorial Day. The Navy is proud of that ship, its crew, its namesake and its heritage,” tweeted the Navy Information Chief.

“That photo is not from the day of the POTUS visit (Monday in Japan, Sunday in US), as the WSJ report itself mentions,” they added.

So, what does Meghan McCain do? Does she send an apology to the president? Does she correct her tweet, or even delete it? Nope. Instead, she doubles down and uses her platform on The View to trash Trump for something he didn’t do:

This is how the left is going to roll as we get nearer to the 2020 election. It’s not about the truth. This disgraced reporter Rebecca Ballhaus is standing by her story and refusing to correct it even in the face of being told it is fake news.

It’s all about making sure Americans who may be leaning voting for Trump to think he is a vindictive dictator who would order a tarp to be thrown over the name of a USS warship just because he had issues with John McCain.

That’s why it is so important for all of us who support Trump to get the truth out there. The Democrats know they can’t beat Trump fair and square, so they will spread horrendous lies hoping they can squeak out a win that way. Let’s not let that happen. We can’t afford to go back to the Obama years.
