First Lady Melania Trump rocked it wearing a green turtle-neck sweater with white skinny jeans, and the haters of the Trump family went bonkers. Ex-CNN anchor Soledad O’Brien went berzerk over one thing about the first lady’s outfit getting praised which caused other Trump-hating journalists to join in. Well, Melania Trump is sick and tired of these hypocrites, and she blew them away and told them all to go pound sand.
Part of officially covering the first lady of the United States is reporting on her fashion choices. Michelle Obama made the cover of every major fashion magazine multiple times during her husband’s presidency, yet when it comes to Melania Trump, these same left-wing reporters go nuts if she is praised in any way.
And the sad thing is the people bashing Melania are female journalists. So much for the left’s dedication to feminism, right? Whether you love or hate President Donald Trump, the one thing you can’t say is that Melania Trump isn’t a fashion icon, but that’s exactly why one current CNN reporter got burned by ex-CNN anchor Soledad O’Brien.
It all started quite innocently when CNN White House reporter Kate Bennett posted pics of the first lady wearing a Ralph Lauren green cashmere turtleneck with a pair of Rag and Bone white skinny jeans and Adidas’ Stan Smith sneakers, along with very cool aviator sunglasses. Bennett tweeted several pics with this comment: “when you coordinate your outfit to match your Stan Smiths.”

Well, holy cow, all hell broke loose as Soledad O’Brien wasn’t going to have anything nice said about Melania Trump. Immediately, her Trump Derangement Syndrome kicked in, and she feverishly replied to Bennett’s tweet, writing, “When you’re a birther, but the media—which has long failed to cover race and racism thoughtfully—comments on your outfit coordination.”

Luckily, Kate Bennett stuck to her guns and let O’Brien have it. She wrote, “Soledad, I have for years and years, as a former fashion editor and fan of fashion generally, used my twitter account to comment on the outfits of first ladies, former and present. If you don’t like how I choose to use my account, unfollow. This tweet is beneath you.”
New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman also agreed heartily with Soledad O’Brien. What followed was a slew of women journalists ganging up on the one CNN reporter. It was all over Melania Trump’s fashion sense. Can you imagine the mainstream media ever criticizing Michelle Obama getting praised for anything, let alone fashion?
This triggered an all-out social media assault on the first lady. Trump supporters shot back at O’Brien and her snowflake brigade of female journalists, like Laurie Grammar who tweeted, “Soledad has sadly fallen into the sewer that has become the fellowship of the ‘hate Trump no matter what’ industrial media complex. #FakeNews.”

Which brings us to Melania Trump trending on Twitter. What started out as a bunch of mean-spirited left-wing reporters bashing the first lady’s outfit, ended up with them scrutinizing everything she does. They trashed talked Mrs. Trump over her cyber-bullying campaign, and that’s was when Melania had enough of their back-biting nonsense.
Ana Navarro, who fills in as a co-host on The View, went all out tweeting, “On vacay & I swore I’d stay off political twitter. But damn, girlfriend’s lack of self-awareness & any sense of shame for her husband’s use of the Presidency to bully others, is hard to ignore. Only plausible explanation here is, Melania suffered oxygen deprivation to the brain.”
Ana Navarro wouldn’t dare think to ever attack any other first lady with such vile comments. So Melania Trump issued a statement through her spokesman, Stephanie Grisham, in essence telling all the Trump-hating women journalists to go pound sand.
FLOTUS knows a thing or two about making sure she never addresses these losers herself, that would give them some power. Grisham shot back at CNN reporter Chris Cillizza after he accused the first lady of “trolling her husband with her cyberbullying campaign” writing, “It’s a sincere campaign meant to help children w the many issues they face today.”
President Trump uses his Twitter account as his means of communicating with the American people. If the mainstream media would just give him a tiny bit of respect and do some fact-based reporting, Trump wouldn’t have to utilize his social media accounts. And as for the president bullying anyone? When someone is habitually lying about you, as they are Trump, when someone is threatening to impeach you, as they are Trump, then I think we all know Trump isn’t the bully in this equation.
All Melania Trump has done is look fabulous as our first lady making us all very proud, and she wants cyber-bullying to stop hurting our kids. The jealous shrews who wear their Trump-hate on their sleeves could learn a lot from Melania. She never lets these idiots see her sweat, and she always looks so perfect, they can’t help but spew their contempt over everything she does.
