Although in the past she has claimed she will not run, there is now renewed interest since Rassmusen Polls just claimed she could beat Trump. Then, we have Barack Obama who was just caught in Hawaii over the weekend, raising money from Democratic donors. Well, never fear, the former first lady just got bad news. You’ll love this.
Will Michelle Obama run for president in 2020? According to the former first lady, the answer is “NO,” yet there is a building wave of support by the Democrats and the Hollywood crowd begging Michelle Obama to reconsider as polls indicate she is the leading Democrat along with Oprah Winfrey. And, there is plenty of time for the 54-year-old mother of two to change her mind.
The closest Michelle got to even hinting she might be open to running was in an interview with ABC’s Robin Roberts. “Anybody who feels the passion to get in this race, we need them in there,” she said. “I hope we have a lot of great candidates who get in there and treat each other respectfully. That’s the thing I’m going to be looking for personally.”
Roberts said, “I’m looking at you,” encouraging Michelle to challenge Trump herself before noting the former first lady has made it clear she isn’t interested in returning to public service.
“This is open to any and everybody who has the courage to step up and serve,” she said.
And, it seems the midterm results made Michelle start to potentially consider a run as the Democrats’ elected far-far-leftist woman of color. “Thank God people saw that voting matters… you don’t make change by sitting frustrated,” she said. “I’m not talking about what it means for one side or the other. What it speaks to is that democracy is still ours to own and control.”
Of course, no one has a crystal ball to know for sure what Michelle would do, but media outlets like The Hill are all on board, urging the former first lady to throw her hat in the ring. “Michelle Obama is Dem rock star many wish would run for president,” reported The Hill. “A Yougov.com poll in April showed [Michelle Obama had] 90 percent favorability rating among Democrats,” they added.
So, no matter what she says, there is no doubt the Democratic donors will want to put their money behind a candidate with that type of favorability rating amongst Democrats. Yet, there is bad news for Michelle if she decides to run.
The Boston Herald, not a conservative Trump-supporting source at all, just forwarned the former attorney and first lady she might want to sit this election out.
“Now that Elizabeth Warren has basically thrown her hat in the presidential ring, the race is beginning to heat up,” the Boston Herald reported. “Democrats are desperate to defeat President Trump and believe Michelle Obama could be that person. But why? What has she done to deserve such adulation? What experience does she have that makes her equipped for the post? At least Hillary Clinton served in U.S. Senate before running for the White House.”
Then, the reporter points out Michelle had nothing to run on? Her only claim to fame is her nightmare school lunch plan.
“Michelle Obama’s hallmark initiative while FLOTUS was the failed school lunch plan. She wanted to make meals healthier for kids, but it resulted in scores of children opting out of the program,” added the Boston Herald. “The only foreign policy experience she has — beyond flying to meet powerful people with her husband — was her ‘#BringBackOurGirls’ social media campaign. That embarrassing stunt highlighted the plight of the 276 schoolgirls kidnapped by the terrorist group Boko Haram in Nigeria in 2014.”
It’s easy to see how President Trump could destroy Mrs. Obama in a debate setting. And, as we all know, the 2016 polls were so off track the New York Times had Hillary Clinton winning the presidency with an 85% chance on Election Day.
Barack Obama was in Hawaii over the weekend warming up to Democratic donors, which some Democrats are hoping is a sign Michelle is thinking about a run. For now, Obama claims he’ll be “educating” and “inspiring” the next generation of candidates to take on those dastardly Republicans.
“The uplifting speech was, it seems, made less to challenge Trump than to convince leftist donors to open their wallets,” reported the Daily Wire.
It really doesn’t matter who runs against President Trump. With the economy humming, unemployment at all-time lows, and America being respected once again on the world stage, the only other big issue Trump must deliver on is border security; namely, the wall. That’s why these Democratic rats are so hellbent on blocking what is crucial to our national security.
With a victory on the wall, it will be extremely difficult for any Democrat to unseat Trump. So, every American who is not brainwashed and deluded by the leftist liars must make sure all your family and friends realize what is at stake. Let’s give our president every advantage to be re-elected in 2020.
