As Michelle Makes A Fool Of Herself, Melania’s Popularity Takes A Sharp Turn

On Wednesday, world leaders, former presidents, and politicians gathered at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., for the State Funeral of George H.W. Bush, who passed away late Friday night at the age of 94. First Lady Melania Trump was in attendance with her husband, and as usual, she was the picture of class despite an awkward situation created by the Obamas. Now, it seems that Melania’s popularity has taken a sharp turn.

According to an AreaVibes survey, First Lady Melania Trump’s name has surged in popularity amongst parents choosing names for their new babies. According to the survey, which shows the popularity of the baby names between the years 2015 and 2017, the name “Melania” has increased by 227 percent.

Ivanka Trump also seems to be among the most-liked figures in the First Family, with her moniker increasing in popularity by a whopping 362 percent.

Meanwhile, 12-year-old Barron’s name has increased in popularity by 90 percent.

However, lest anyone think that this sort of thing is typical for the members of the first family, it should be noted that when the Clintons were in the White House, the popularity of the name “Hillary” actually took a complete nose dive:

The Trump women’s name popularity is a contrast to the name “Hillary” after former U.S. first lady Hillary Clinton and her husband entered former president Bill Clinton’s presidency, as her name saw a “precipitous drop” in popularity afterward, according to AreaVibes.

Americans are showing their approval for the current first lady as “Melania” was ranked fifth on the list of names rising in popularity in 2016 and 2017, as IJR Red previously noted — the name means “black” in Spanish and Greek origin.

As her name becomes more popular for baby names, the U.S. first lady’s approval rating was at 54 percent favorable, according to a CNN poll in October — while President Trump holds a 42.4 percent approval rating and 51.8 disapproval rating, according to FiveThirtyEight. [Source: IJR]

Of course, you would never give your child the same name as a sitting first lady unless you admired her greatly. As they say, imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. Thus, we can deduce that Melania Trump is greatly loved by the American people, so much so that they are giving their daughter’s her name.

Despite what the mainstream media would have you believe, Melania Trump’s favorability is sky high. Even after everything that the political left has done to try to crucify her in the court of public opinion, she remains more popular than ever. If that weren’t true, parents wouldn’t be rushing to name their precious new babies after her.

This news serves as an insult to injury for Michelle Obama, after she made a complete fool of herself at the funeral for former President George H.W. Bush on Wednesday, disrespectfully raising her eyebrows when it came time to shake hands with President Donald Trump. Melania, on the other hand, was the picture of class and dignity throughout the service.
