Michelle’s Mom Belittles Grammy Appearance, Obama Texts Her: ‘I Am A Real Star’

Michelle Obama’s mother, Marian Robinson, doesn’t seem impressed by her daughter hobnobbing with the Hollywood crowd. After the former first lady’s recent appearance at the Grammy Awards, Robinson gave her daughter a real reality check. But that’s not all. You don’t want to miss this.

Michelle Obama screenshot a text conversation she had with her dear mother, Marian Robinson. Then, the 55-year-old former first lady posted this highly personal conversation on her Instagram account. Whatever the reason, it really says volumes about Michelle and her actions since she left the White House.

Michelle looked completely out of place on stage at the Grammy’s Sunday night. Apparently, it looks like the former first lady wiggled her way into a spot with music icons like Alicia Keyes, Jennifer Lopez, and Lady Gaga. Many were wondering why Michelle Obama was on stage at the Grammys talking about pop music history when she has nothing to do with the industry.

“From the Motown records I wore out on the South Side —” Obama began, but was immediately drowned out by canned applause from the leftist crowd. Obama laughed and said, “All right you all, all right, we got a show to do.”

“From the Motown records I wore out on the South Side, to the ‘who run the world’ songs that fueled me through this last decade, music has always helped me tell my story. And I know that’s true for everybody here,” Obama said. Can anyone imagine Laura Bush in Michelle’s place on that stage? This must be what Marian Robinson was thinking too.

Michelle Obama loves the Hollywood lifestyle. Instead of retiring into a quiet lifestyle like most former first ladies, the former attorney has made it her new mission to become a celebrity. Her big book tour proves this point. Michelle rents out huge arenas as if she is having a rock concert, and then makes sure a big star helps her host the event.

“The former first lady will be interviewed by her celebrity friends at some of the events. They’re billed as ‘intimate conversations’ but will take place in huge arenas where NBA teams play and rock stars perform,” the Kansas City Star reported.

And the former Michelle Robinson’s new celebrity style has been compared to Cher. Back in December, Michelle showed up at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, shocking everyone when she took to the stage wearing $4,000 dollar glittery thigh-high Balenciaga boots:

There’s no doubt Michelle now sees herself as a bonafide Hollywood star. Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Sarah Jessica Parker are just a few of the celebrities the former first lady booked to appear with her. And so it’s no wonder her mother feels Michelle is taking herself a little too seriously.

After the Grammy appearance, Ms. Robinson was less than impressed with her daughter, texting to Michelle: “I guess you were at hit at the Grammys.”

“I’m sitting here with Valarie [Jarrett] and this text is so typically you,” Michelle responded. “Did you watch it?” Asks Michelle.

Marian then said, “I saw it because Gracie called me. Did you meet any of the real stars or did you run right after you were done?”

Of course, Michelle’s mom is making the point she doesn’t see her daughter as a “real star.” After Ms. Robinson and Michelle banter back and forth over if she was informed about the Grammy appearance, Michelle quips, “I AM A real star…by the way.” Her mother answers, “Yeah.”

“When your mom doesn’t think you’re a ‘real’ celebrity…Tonight in Phoenix, I shared this text thread from my mom from #Grammys night, and I just had to share it with all of you,” wrote Obama on her Instagram account.

We can only surmise that Michelle was looking for sympathy. She wanted her followers to feel her so-called pain. “You’re not a fake celebrity, you’re an inspiration! We miss you Miss O,” posted “Chaurelle.” Another follower, “Hurricane Marlee” said, “You’re more than a celebrity! You’re a hero!”

Michelle Obama has been star-struck, and she is yearning to shed her politician’s wife lifestyle. She is trying like hell to transform herself into Hollywood starlet, but instead, she looks like a fool. When your own 81-year-old mother is embarrassed by your actions and makes a point to call you out, maybe it’s time to stop.

Instead, Michelle plasters her private conversation on social media like a spoiled brat playing the poor child who could never please her mother. Americans don’t feel sorry for the former first lady, we suffered enough under the Obama regime, and this just proves we were right about her all along.
