Michelle Trashes Trump As Reality Star Who Shouldn’t Be POTUS, Gets Nasty Surprise

Michelle Obama is back on her book tour, and this time the former first lady was donning an ultra expensive black sequined bustier, custom-made for her large frame. The 55-year-old Michelle told host Gayle King that being a reality star doesn’t qualify you to be President of the United States. Well, that’s when Michelle got a nasty surprise she never saw coming. You’ll love this.

Ever since Michelle Obama launched her tour to promote her memoir, Becoming, all the leftist media outlets have been gushing over the book as the best thing since sliced bread. They also love to bring up that Obama’s memoir is the best-selling book of 2018.

The book sold 1.4 million copies in its first week, according to Wikipedia. After 15 days, the book became the best-selling book in the US for the year 2018. And Michelle has been donning designer duds on this big tour, something she decided to do now that she is out of the White House. Some people see this as disingenuous.

Michelle admitted she now feels liberated to wear what she wants. It seems wearing ultra expensive custom-made suits would tarnish the Obamas’ so-called middle-class image with working Americans. Well, Michelle isn’t middle class anymore, and she sure wasn’t middle-class while she was the first lady, either.

“The former FLOTUS has already wowed audiences with her sparkling $18K millennial pink suit in Denmark and $28K thigh-high glitter Balenciaga boots in Brooklyn, and now she’s going even bolder, attending the Atlanta, Georgia, stop of her tour in a custom-made black sequin bustier and royal purple suit,” reported Page Six.

Michelle Obama had no idea she was in for a real nasty surprise as she whooped it up in Atlanta with Gayle King, which included trashing Trump.

“Gayle King wanted to know if Mrs. Obama would ever consider running for president, like many had hoped Oprah would do after her powerful Golden Globes speech in January 2018. But like the O of O, who King admitted wouldn’t run unless she ‘got a call from Jesus,’ the Becoming author nipped the suggestion in the bud,” Yahoo reported.

“Here’s the thing: People have to want to be in politics,” Michelle said. “It has to be their passion. It’s not just because y’all like them. Like Oprah, she’s nice, she’s got a great TV show, so she should be president. That’s not how it works. We did that.”

“Mrs. Obama’s last sentence seemed to hint at President Donald Trump’s journey from the hit NBC series The Apprentice to the White House, and it caused the audience to erupt into laughter and applause,” Yahoo added.

Michelle Obama knew exactly what she was doing when she made the comparison. However, since the former first lady has been panned by making so many anti-Trump statements, the 55-year-old tried to walk it back.

“[Michelle] insisted the statement wasn’t a slight or ‘political shade’ towards Trump,” reported Oprah’s “O” Magazine. Well, that just doesn’t ring true. Michelle spends an awful lot of her memoir trashing President Trump. The former first lady claimed Trump had put her life and the lives of her children in danger by posting a few tweets asking questions about Barack’s birth certificate back in 2011.

Well, at the same time Michelle was trashing Trump in Atlanta, she got some really bad news. You see, the former first lady thought she was a shoo-in to be awarded the coveted “Book of the Year Award,” and well, that didn’t happen.

Michelle was bested by an Irish writer named Sally Rooney. “Sally Rooney trumps Michelle Obama to book of the year title,” reported The Guardian. “Sally Rooney’s Normal People has taken the top prize at the British book awards, beating Michelle Obama’s widely-tipped autobiography Becoming and last year’s Man Booker winner Anna Burns’s Milkman, to win the title of book of the year.”

Oh, and can you guess Michelle’s reaction? Did she congratulate Sally Rooney, who is a professional writer? Of course not. It just goes to show you that even though Michelle sold a ton of books, Ms. Rooney’s work merited this award.

And we bet Ms. Obama didn’t write much of her own memoir, anyway. Her college thesis was “unreadable” and Christopher Hitchens gave it a scathing review. “To describe it as hard to read would be a mistake; the thesis cannot be ‘read’ at all, in the strict sense of the verb. This is because it wasn’t written in any known language, ” said Hitchens.

Michelle Obama must be fuming she didn’t get “book of the year.” At least those of us who relish reading a good novel or memoir can take comfort in knowing Michelle may have fooled some people, but she sure didn’t fool them all.
