Enjoy.)Michelle Obama took swipes at President Donald Trump as she lectured Americans on the Stephen Colbert show. “We knew that we were the moral compass,” Michelle stated. Then, she hammered Trump when she asked, “What kind of moral leadership do we demand in the White House?” But that’s not all. Michelle bashed the president for several minutes, and that’s when she got a big reality check from patriotic Americans.
Michelle Obama is trying to re-write history as it pertains to the Obama years in the White House. And never was that so apparent as when she appeared on the Stephen Colbert show. The former first lady thinks she and Barack were a “moral compass” while they occupied the White House, and she went on to trash Trump and his supporters.
“We knew that we were the moral compass. So we had to speak carefully and clearly and intelligently and we couldn’t just say things off the cuff,” Michelle stated.
Colbert followed up by asking, “As people who took that moral position seriously, and it is a serious position, how does it feel to see the next occupant, at least of the Oval Office—I can’t speak to anyone else’s in his family—who seems indifferent to that responsibility?”
The former first lady responded, “The question that we have to ask ourselves is how does the country feel about it? Because I don’t think it matters how I felt about it. I’ve felt torn about it from the day I watched it happen. But now the country has to ask itself, what do we want? What is the bar that we’re setting for ourselves?”
She added, “It’s up to the voters now to figure out what kind of moral leadership do we demand in the White House, regardless of party, regardless of race, regardless of gender, regardless of wherever you are. What do we want our president to look like? How do we want them to act? And if we vote for one set of behavior, then that’s obviously what we want until we vote differently.”
So not only is Michelle claiming she and Barack were the moral authority while in the White House, but she is also blasting those who voted for Donald Trump by implying we voted for a horrible person.
Well, maybe the former first lady doesn’t realize millions of Americans remember the Obamas so-called moral compass in the White House. We all remember when Obama told us we could “keep our own doctor” and “keep our healthcare plan.” Instead, Barack singlehandedly destroyed our healthcare system.
Barack’s architect of Obamacare admitted, “Yeah, we lied to the stupid American people to get it passed.” That’s a wonderful example of the Obama “moral compass.” Or how about the entire Benghazi scandal? Who can forget the former president telling us four Americans were dead due to an internet video?
Then, there’s Barack’s good buddy Eric Holder and the Fast and Furious scandal, or what about his IRS Director Lois Lerner pleading the 5th when Obama gave her the go-ahead to attack conservative Tea Party groups? In fact, we are sure when the history books are written, Barack Obama will make Richard Nixon look like a scandal-free president.
The Obama presidency will be known for the biggest political scandal in the last century. Namely, weaponizing his FBI and CIA to spy on a presidential candidate, Donald Trump. That’s why Americans immediately gave Michelle Obama a reality check.
Trump supporters Diamond and Silk said this about Michelle’s comments, “This is what it looks like when the puppet masters, lobbyists and big money donors are the ones pulling the strings. A well rehearsed, robotic, staged and corrupted politician……”
Twitter user Ms. Bernie followed that up with, “Moral Compass?!? Where was the moral compass when @BarackObama gave money to those big banks/companies responsible for the Great Recession? Broken or went missing @MichelleObama?”

“Red Rain” weighed in telling the former first lady, “@MichelleObama believe me, you and Barry are no ones moral compass. Your both embarrassments we had to deal with for 8 years. You don’t matter now or ever. @realDonaldTrump is going to erase the stain you 2 left on our country. Go away please!”

And Twitter user “JDoors” posted, “Michelle Obama Claims To Have Been Moral Compass. Like nearly everything Barack and Michelle say, it’s their version of the truth. Michelle, your moral values are loathed by half the country, it’s not really something to brag about in public.”

The 54-year-old former first lady wants to spin her beloved’s presidency hoping to mitigate all the damning headlines that are to come from the Spygate scandal. President Trump is poised to de-classify all the documents on Obama’s FBI and CIA’s operation called “Crossfire Hurricane,” which is what they called the illegal operation to spy on Trump. When that happens, Barack and Michelle will be in a world of hurt, and it will make all the lies they told while in the White House look like child’s play.
