A Missouri thug made the mistake of a lifetime when he decided to commit a hate crime against an innocent police officer. While the suspect was driving the opposite direction of the cop down the highway, the mystery thug decided to shake the officer’s world by throwing a deadly surprise at the cop’s car, and now, the hunt is on for the maniac.
The Missouri cop had a different shift than usual when he was driving down the same road he takes every day, and the thug gave him the surprise of a lifetime. An unknown subject threw an IED (small-improvised explosive device) at the cop car when he saw it driving on the highway. In the middle of the afternoon, the unknown officer was on a routine drive that turned into a dangerous ride.
At approximately 12:30 pm, while driving eastbound on Missouri Highway 58, in the area of Campbell Boulevard, an unknown suspect threw what authorities believe to be a small-improvised explosive device (IED) in the direction of a Raymore Police car that was traveling westbound on Highway 58. The explosive landed and detonated on the highway pavement, missing the officer and his car. Neighbors that live nearby the awful attack said it sounded like a car crash when the IED exploded before they soon found out what actually caused the awful sound. Thankfully, the police officer was not injured in the assault, and his car was also not damaged.
Sadly, incidents of explosives being thrown at law enforcement have skyrocketed and are only continuing to grow since all the Antifa and Black Lives Matter rioting across our nation began. Lately, the incidents have occurred during the riots and have not been random acts like this one.
Unfortunately, the Missouri police do not have any leads yet on who the bomb-throwing thug is and have asked the public for help identifying the suspect. The Raymore Police Department is even offering up a reward to anyone who can help lead to the arrest or conviction of the felon. They have since issued a public statement:
ATF and Raymore Police are asking anyone that was in the area of 58 Highway and Campbell at 12:30 today and may have seen this incident or witnessed the detonation of the device to contact them at 1-888-ATF-BOMB.
A reward of up to $5,000 is available for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case. Tipsters can remain anonymous. [Source: Fox4kc]
Raymore Police Officers are hoping for evidence to surface soon in order to prevent this from happening to other cops, but they are grateful the IED did not injure the officer who was involved in this attack. There are too many thugs out there who are obsessed with endangering our law enforcement, and it needs to be put to a stop. Our cops should be focusing on fighting real crime, and now, this is one more task on their list.
