After a rising Muslim politician sued President Donald Trump for $13 million for allegedly lying about Muslim migrants, he was slapped with the most perfectly ironic dose of karmic justice.
Liberals harbor such a virulent hatred for Trump and his supporters that they are willing to go to extremes in order to cause damage to them and their campaign. In fact, the progressive left is so hypocritical in their political mudslinging that they often accuse their opponents of the very crimes they commit.
When 50-year-old Communities United Party leader Kamran Malik of London heard would-be U.S. President Donald Trump claim in 2016 that parts of his city are so overtaken by Sharia law that police fear entering the areas, he became indignant. Hoping to make Trump pay literally and figuratively, Malik filed a lawsuit for $13.24 million in damages against him for allegedly defaming Muslims in these neighborhoods.
Expectedly, Malik lost his lawsuit just one month before Trump was elected president, when London High Court Master Victoria McCloud dismissed the frivolous case, arguing that the comments could not be defamation “even if what was said by him caused real upset.” Malik was then ordered to pay over $46,000 in court costs and lost his right to appeal. Although he suffered a humiliating and financially devastating loss, it doesn’t even come close to what he’s facing now.
After losing his lawsuit against President Donald Trump for allegedly perpetuating falsehoods, Kamran Malik has been jailed for the very same thing he accused the U.S. commander in chief of doing. According to the Daily Mail, Malik was sentenced to 12 months in prison and ordered to pay over $63,000 for lying to and scamming 6 Muslim migrants out of more than $21,000 by giving them bogus immigration advice.
Malik and his 41-year-old wife, Humera Kamran, reportedly conned half a dozen asylum seekers out of tens of thousands of dollars between November 2014 and October 2016. The couple swindled a political refugee who sought residency in the UK for family members, a woman who fled Iran, and a man whom Malik threatened for refusing to pay the unlawful fees.
During sentencing, Southwark Crown Court Judge Stephen Robbins chastised Malik for taking advantage of vulnerable migrants, something the Muslim leader has repeatedly accused President Trump of doing. Incredibly, Malik was already jailed for 24 weeks in 2014 for committing the same crimes.
“The really aggravating factors in this case are that once again you are back before the courts after being sentenced for similar activities in 2014. And your offending was over a protracted period, there were multiple vulnerable victims – one of whom was seeking asylum. There was an abuse of a position of trust because you would fraudulently introduce yourself as a solicitor.”
Malik told migrants that they had an “excellent chance” to obtain work visas through his agency, KM Legal Advisory. However, his agency was not registered with the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner and Malik had no legal certification to provide such services.
Malik was only jailed for a year after pleading guilty to 5 counts related to providing immigration advice and services to migrants while unqualified. His wife was allowed to plead not guilty after he confessed to his crimes. The court concluded that she permitted her husband’s criminal behavior through her own negligence.
Kamran Malik was hypocritically indignant after President Donald Trump’s 2016 comments on MSNBC about Paris and London being “radicalized” by Muslim migrants.
“Paris is no longer the safe city it was. They have sections in Paris that are radicalised, where the police refuse to go there. They’re petrified. The police refuse to go in there.”
He added: “We have places in London and other places that are so radicalised that the police are afraid for their own lives. We have to be very smart and very vigilant.”
Malik’s imprisonment comes just before the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 5-4 to uphold President Trump’s travel ban, which includes a series of terror-prone Islamic countries. The justices concluded that the president holds the legal power to impose such a ban, despite left-wing opposition calling the security measures racist, according to The New York Times. Judges determined that the ban was not racially or religiously discriminatory since it did not include Iraq and dozens of other “predominately Muslim countries,” but targeted nations that raise serious national security threats.
Liberals are so filled with hate toward President Donald Trump and his supporters that they’re willing to perpetuate the same hypocrisy they claim to abhor. You can bet that if the left is condemning conservatives of a particular iniquity, they are most likely guilty of it themselves.
