Nancy Plays Dirty & Blocks Trump’s Entry For SOTU, He Makes Her Regret It

Nancy Pelosi is playing dirty. Late yesterday, it was learned the Speaker ordered the House of Representatives’ sergeant-at-arms to block entry to the House Chamber to the White House. This means Pelosi is going ahead with stopping President Donald Trump from delivering the State of the Union address. Well, poor Nancy just made a huge mistake, and the president is making her really regret it. You’ll love this.

Nancy Pelosi was hoping to stop any publicity that she had blocked White House personnel from having access to the House Chamber over the weekend. President Trump’s team needed access to get things ready for his State of the Union Address.

CNN buried a blurb about the incident in an article late yesterday afternoon. Thankfully, eagled-eyed conservative pundits caught it. “Over the holiday weekend, the White House asked for — but was denied — a walk-through by the House of Representatives’ sergeant-at-arms in preparation of the speech,” CNN reported.

“If Pelosi refuses to blink, Trump will not be able to speak in the House. It’s Pelosi’s right as speaker to invite (or not invite) the President to address the chamber. As evidence, the House sergeant-at-arms turned down a request Monday from the White House for a walk-through in advance of the speech next Tuesday,” CNN added.

So can Pelosi stop the president from entering the chamber? The House Speaker controls who is, and who is not, permitted entry to the House floor. Until Speaker Pelosi calls for a vote to support a joint session of Congress, the President cannot enter the chamber for the purposes of delivering the SOTU.

Now, this gets a little complicated. Yes, Pelosi has no power from preventing the president to enter the House Chamber at any time. But she does have a way to stop the State of the Union address in the House Chamber.

“Pelosi, as the speaker, can control whether the resolution needed for the SOTU comes up for a vote at all in the House — or, if it does, she can urge her members to vote ‘no.’ If there’s no joint session of Congress, Trump can’t come to the House floor to deliver his address,” McClatchy reported.

But never fear. Pelosi has gone toe to toe with Trump over this SOTU issue, and it was a disaster for the Speaker. After the House Leader claimed there were so-called “security issues” and she advised Trump to cancel it, immediately she got caught lying.

“Multiple reports indicate that the U.S. Secret Service and the Department of Homeland Security both reject Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s stated reason for asking the President of the United States to postpone the State of the Union address,” Breitbart reported.

Pelosi tried to play Trump on that whole security issue, and she was caught looking like a liar and fool. This is why the Speaker is keeping it on the down low that she is still going to stop Trump for the SOTU. The Democratic brain-trust has decided the president’s speaking ability along with the truth about the government shutdown on his side, he must be stopped from addressing the nation.

Now, Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats are nervous. You see, the president hasn’t said a thing lately about the SOTU, but his staffers have indicated they are proceeding and it will happen as scheduled on January 29th.

“The White House is still planning to move ahead with next week’s scheduled State of the Union address, but the details remain up in the air,” Fox News reported yesterday. The ball is in Pelosi’s court, and she will get burned by Trump either way.

Fox News contributor Dan Bongino thinks Trump may give the address outside Washington, D.C., but he is just speculating. “USA Girl” tweeted, “I vote for a huge football stadium and he can invite all the Angel Parents, Border Patrol, Law Enforcement, military and anybody else that wants to come!” Never fear, Trump is playing his cards close to his vest, and Pelosi is in hot water no matter what happens now, as you’ll see.

If she blocks the SOTU address at the Capitol, and it’s already widely known by the Secret Service there is no good reason to do so, she ends up looking like a hateful shrew who is just trying to hurt Trump with zero benefits to the American people.

And the White House has indicated they will move forward with an alternate plan. And those who know Trump, know it will be something to see. She can’t stop him from addressing the American people, she can only stop him from doing so in the House Chamber. Either way, Trump gets his message to the American people.

Either way, Pelosi loses big time. Americans will see her as a woman scorned if she stops him from using the House Chamber, and if she signs off on it, the president will shine and knock it out of the park. Possibly swaying those Americans believing the Democratic lies on the shutdown and border, to see the light of truth. Poor Pelosi. President Trump has her in a vice-grip, and she doesn’t even know it.
