Nancy Livid, Stunt Holding Up Impeachment Just Got Wrecked By Her Attorney

Nancy Pelosi’s livid. Her latest stunt, holding on to the articles of impeachment and refusing to turn them over to the Senate, just got utterly destroyed by an attorney who appeared as a Democratic witness before the judiciary committee impeachment hearing. Poor Nancy got the bad news this morning, and President Donald Trump and his supporters are loving it. Don’t miss this.

Republican Congressman Andy Biggs said last night on Fox News that Nancy Pelosi’s stunt of holding on to the articles of impeachment was not a well thought out plan. He said the GOP was stunned the Speaker thought she could retain any control by pulling such a stupid stunt. Well, today it just got worse for the California Democrat.

Noah Feldman, the Democrats’ own hand-picked attorney who testified at the impeachment hearing, wrote an op-ed in Bloomberg News arguing President Trump is technically not impeached until the House submits the articles to the Senate.

Yep, you read that right. In fact, House Majority Whip James Clyburn has even suggested the Democrats might never advance the impeachment process. What games are they playing, now? They know their case is non-existent and the president will prove in the Senate trial that Pelosi and Adam Schiff duped many Americans with lies and fabrications.

Feldman writes the definition of impeachment, according to the framers, “assumed that impeachment was a process, not just a House vote,” and impeachment is official only when the articles are transmitted to the Senate, where lawmakers are “obliged by the Constitution to hold a trial.”

“The Constitution doesn’t say how fast the articles must go to the Senate. Some modest delay is not inconsistent with the Constitution, or how both chambers usually work,” Feldman wrote. “But an indefinite delay would pose a serious problem. Impeachment, as contemplated by the Constitution, does not consist merely of the vote by the House, but of the process of sending the articles to the Senate for trial. Both parts are necessary to make an impeachment under the Constitution.”

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich weighed in. “Why would you start a fight in the House knowing you are going to lose control of it to the people who are very capable of making you look very foolish?” he asked. “And yet, that’s the dance they began.”

He said that, with every passing day, “Pelosi is going to look sillier and sillier. The Democrats in the House are going to look more and more narrowly political and partisan. And frankly, that’s not a very good place to be.”

Former U.S. Prosecutor Andy McCarthy is laughing at the Democrats. “Pelosi and Democratic leadership have convinced themselves there may be advantage in delaying the formal, ministerial delivery of the impeachment articles — as if Mitch McConnell were in as much a hurry to receive them as Democrats were to conjure them up,” McCarthy said.

“The thought is that this latest strategic petulance might pressure Senator McConnell into promising a full-blown trial, including summoning as witnesses top aides of the president whom the House didn’t bother to summon because tangling over privilege issues would have slowed up the works,” McCarthy adds. “So it’s not a joke, but I still have to laugh.”

Americans sounded off on social media letting Pelosi know the jig is up, and she is looking like an utter fool.

“How funny is that, that even one of the Democrats star Witnesses, Noah Feldman, a rabid leftist, even says that until Nancy Pelosi sends over the articles of impeachment that he’s not impeached. And she’s already announced that Congress is on vacation until mid-January,” tweeted Stonewall Jackson.

“Pelosi has no power here. Even Noah Feldman, a Democrat legal witness, states that if Congress doesn’t pass the articles to the Senate no impeachment has occurred,” tweeted James Aitkenhead.

“The Democrats most impressive witness, Noah Feldman, Harvard Prof, who trashed the Pres. as best he could, now reports if the House fails to submit articles of impeachment to the Senate, under the Constitution, the impeachment becomes null and void. Pelosi.. completely clueless..,” tweeted “the Real Deal.”

“Don’t be fooled by Speaker Pelosi or Noah Feldman that ‘it isn’t impeachment until the articles of impeachment are passed.’ This is NOT impeachment at all. It’s an illegitimate and unconstitutional, partisan bastardization. The Senate should strike it down making it null & void,” tweeted Todd Griffith.

All of that hullabaloo that came out of Nancy Pelosi as the rushed impeachment vote came about might just have been for nothing.  The funereal black suit, the “somber” and “sullen” mood about prayers for the country, the declarations that democracy is at stake, the appeal to “history,” the invocations from the Founding Fathers, the orders to Democrats to quit giggling and popping champagne corks and pretend for a few minutes that the whole thing was solemn, humorless affair…was for nothing.

The joke’s on Nancy, because if she refuses to ship the thing to the Senate, then the whole impeachment was a joke. And now it looks as though she’s boxed herself into a corner. Merry Christmas, President Trump wins again.
