Rep. Ilhan Omar is refusing to stay in the Democratic lane and tow the party line. Forget about her immense hatred of President Donald Trump. The 37-year-old Somali immigrant is looking to take over the entire party and she just threw Barack Obama under the bus, an immensely stupid move by a freshman representative. Of course, all Trump supporters just love it.
Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar ripped former President Barack Obama in an interview published Friday, belittling his “pretty face” and saying his agenda of hope and change was an illusion, the New York Post reported. She cited the “caging of kids” at the Mexican border and the “droning of countries around the world” on Obama’s watch — and argued that he wasn’t much different from President Trump.
“We can’t be only upset with Trump,” the freshman lawmaker told Politico Magazine. “His policies are bad, but many of the people who came before him also had really bad policies. They just were more polished than he was,” Omar said.
“And that’s not what we should be looking for anymore,” Omar added. “We don’t want anybody to get away with murder because they are polished. We want to recognize the actual policies that are behind the pretty face and the smile.”

Going after Obama, the “anointed one,” who Democrats have lionized as the leader of their party, is really baffling. Or is it? There seems to be a new coalition of hardcore leftists who make Barack’s politics look like child’s play. And this is very dangerous as it leads to extreme anti-Israel, anti-American sentiments.
“Muslim political leaders have helped make this happen [changing the Democratic party]. Omar and her colleague from Michigan, Rashida Tlaib — along with activists such as Linda Sarsour, who helped lead the national Women’s March — have emerged as visible symbols of American progressivism,” reports The Atlantic.
Democratic pundits claim Omar and her buddies are changing the party from supporting Israel to supporting the Palestinian cause. You see, for these Muslim extremists, the former president didn’t go far enough in his anti-Israel policies.
“This is a huge shift in power and posture from just a few years ago, when a former representative from Minnesota, Keith Ellison, was accused of attacking Israel and supporting Louis Farrakhan, the notoriously anti-Semitic leader of the Nation of Islam,” the Atlantic adds.
Rep. Rashida Tlaib once wrote a column for the Final Call, an official publication of the Nation of Islam and its notorious leader Louis Farrakhan. And Rep. Omar recently was under fire for refusing to clear up the allegation she committed fraud and perjury when she allegedly married her brother in 2009 so he could get his green card.
Even the leftwing “Snopes” had to rate the Omar marriage scandal as “unproven.” They could not rate it as “false,” since there is so much information out there that doesn’t add up. The Minnesota Congresswoman could clear it up if she wanted, but so far, she refuses to adequately address the claims.
As the Democratic Party tilts left, it faces hefty liabilities, which the controversy over Omar has powerfully illustrated. In progressive activist circles, support for Palestine is often part of the price of admission, along with support for LGBT rights and leftist hate groups like Black Lives Matter.
This is just the beginning. This is an all-out war as the party of Obama and Pelosi will now try and hold on to the steering wheel. And we couldn’t be happier. This is exactly what you don’t want going into a big presidential election. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, but in this case, they are all enemies to our great Republic, and Americans aren’t going to buy what Omar and her anti-American, anti-Israel cohorts are selling. Just sit back, have some popcorn and watch the Democratic Party implode.
