Obama SWEARS Oregon Wanted Him To Come, These Pictures Prove Otherwise

The bodies of the nine victims of the horrific shooting at Umpqua Community College in Oregon weren’t even cold before Barack Obama took to his podium, armed with his teleprompter to lecture the nation about gun control. Shortly after, he said he was going to Roseburg to speak with the families and swore the town wanted him to come. Well, those who keep pushing that narrative might want to look at what happened when he arrived.

The people of Oregon are gun-toting, freedom loving Americans, and they were quite upset that Obama immediately politicized the tragedy that occurred in their small town. Families of the victims publicly decried his actions, town officials told him he wasn’t welcome, and residents in the community promised to protest his arrival if he went there, and it appears as if they made good on their promise.

Pictures uploaded to the Facebook group Defend Roseburg – Deny Obama, as well as Twitter, show just how many people showed up for the planned protest, which happened at 11 a.m. this morning, and it’s safe to say the town as a whole didn’t want him there. Numerous photos taken from several different locations show what appears to be hundreds of people lining the streets in protest of the divider-in-chief’s arrival.

Is that awesome or what? All week long, we’ve heard from the liberal media that the town was going to welcome Obama with open arms, but it turns out the opposite was true, and they sent a rather strong message about him using their tragedy to advance an agenda.

I guess this is what happens when you use your bully pulpit to exploit victims of tragedies in order to ram through an unpopular agenda. What’s sad is that I’m sure that if he hadn’t immediately politicized this incident, the people would have welcomed his visit to pay respects to the grieving families, but they’re not so stupid to think his trip was about anything other than politics, and it’s really too bad.

This guy has been the most divisive president our nation has ever seen, and he really did hit a new low this time. He had the opportunity to rally the nation behind the people of Roseburg, but instead he chose to drive a wedge further between us all and turn the victims of a horrible tragedy into victims again, as the political debate over gun control overshadowed a grieving community’s sorrow.

It’s sad such a thing has become the norm under his administration, and we can only hope that it ends with the next election. Regardless, I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say, good job, Roseburg residents, this is exactly what needed to happen!
