The former president can’t stand being sidelined. He just shocked a number of potential Democratic presidential candidates like Senators Kamala Harris and Corey Booker after he was caught in a secret meeting in his Foggy Bottom offices about the 2020 race. Much of what happened in that meeting has been leaked to the press, and it will blow your mind.
Why can’t Barack Obama just go away like more dignified former presidents? As we just laid George H.W. Bush to rest, Americans appreciated that after he lost a tight race against Bill Clinton, the 41st president retired from politics. Even though the Clintons deployed a dirty tricks campaign, Bush ’41 refused to trash them in return.
His son, George W. Bush, commented about how he was utterly shocked that his father had written a humble note to Mr. Clinton after the bruising loss. After the dirty tricks and smear campaign waged against his father, he couldn’t believe how his father could just let it go and be so magnanimous:
Dear Bill,
When I walked into this office just now I felt the same sense of wonder and respect that I felt four years ago. I know you will feel that, too.
I wish you great happiness here. I never felt the loneliness some Presidents have described.
There will be very tough times, made even more difficult by criticism you may not think is fair. I’m not a very good one to give advice; but just don’t let the critics discourage you or push you off course.
You will be our President when you read this note. I wish you well. I wish your family well.
Your success now is our country’s success. I am rooting hard for you.

For those who don’t’ remember, the Clintons ruthless dirty tricks campaigning style was perfected on Bush ’41. Still, the late president said it was vital he support his successor. It was for the good of the country. Sadly, that type of humility coming from former presidents was gone from Washington after his son, Bush ’43, left.
That brings us to Barack Obama and his recent shenanigans. The 57-year-old former community organizer is going back to his roots. He was caught in a secret meeting preparing his strategy to take out President Trump in 2020.
And you’ll never guess who is going to be Obama’s choice. Well, of course, the one beta male who is so slick and sickening that he got big Democratic donors to pour millions into his failing senatorial campaign: Beto O’Rourke.
According to a report by the Washington Post, the former Democratic candidate who lost his election for Senate against Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, met secretly with Obama at his Foggy Bottom offices on November 16th.

Congressman Beto O’Rourke, whose failed Senate attempt shot him to Democratic stardom, has met with former President Barack Obama to discuss a 2020 presidential bid, it has been revealed.
The meeting took place Nov. 16 – less than two weeks after the midterm election – at the former president’s offices in Washington D.C., The Washington Post reported.
O’Rourke may have lost to Republican Sen. Ted Cruz on Election Day – and will be unemployed as of Jan. 3 when the new Congress is sworn in – but he has sparked more presidential speculation than most.
Democrats cited his impressive $70 million fundraising hall along with his use of social media that made him a national phenomenon.
Yes, Barack has taken a fancy to Beto. The leftist media’s love-fest with Robert Francis O’Rourke is now complete as they have dubbed him “the next Barack Obama.” And at least that is partly true. Beto O’Rourke has no experience to be dog catcher, much like Obama had little to no experience to become president in 2008.
Oh, the Hollywood crowd is smitten with Beto, too. They think, like Obama, that he could make the country fall in love with him. And just like the 44th president, Beto is just as dangerous. The failed senatorial candidate is for open borders, higher taxes, anti-Second Amendment, and wants to continue where Obama left off in transforming America into a socialistic state.
Could he have a chance against Trump? Nope, not really. But his backers will pour millions into his campaign. The Democrats are hellbent to regain the presidency, and they are right now plotting and planning how to do that from every angle.
Rejecting voter ID laws will be a big issue for the Democrats. They will tie the president up in endless investigations in the House of Representatives. And Barack Obama will be holding hands on the campaign trail with Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke.
