Barack Obama was reportedly pissed off after President Donald Trump pointed out a hole that he left in the Oval Office dining room wall. The 45th president just told special guests that the White House “was in rough shape,” when he moved in and revealed the hole that Barack left along with his “sick secret.” Well, you don’t want to miss this.

Leftist media is jumping all over a story that just came out, hoping to paint President Trump in a bad light. But, what they don’t realize is that most Americans don’t see Barack as their anointed one.

The Washington Post, the anti-Trump publication, is citing a new book from former White House aide Cliff Sims, who wrote that Trump often takes guests around the lesser-seen areas of the West Wing. Starved for any material to use to really blast Trump, they are down in the gutter pulling out any anecdote they think makes him look terrible.

If anything, this story makes Obama look like an ingrate. According to Trump, the Obamas left the White House in “rough shape,” but then he noticed the hole left in the Oval Office dining room wall and found out what was going on.

“He just sat in here and watched basketball all day,” Trump reportedly said of former President Obama, The Washington Post reported on Monday, citing unnamed White House officials. The former president used to hide out in the dining room and Trump heard he punched a hole in the wall. Of course, Obama and his people were pissed off and quick to deny it.

“An Obama official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, disputed Trump’s alleged remark, telling the Post that Obama rarely used the dining room for work,” reported The Hill. In fact, the Obama official said the former president was livid, saying, “There was no hole in the wall.”

“We’ve remodeled it since then,” Trump said on a tour in December, said a person with direct knowledge of the event. “With dangling new chandeliers and imported artwork added during his tenure, showing guests around the White House is among his favorite activities, they said,” The Post added.

“Most people want to keep parts of the White House private for their families and themselves,” presidential historian Douglas Brinkley said of previous presidents. “He’s very restless and doesn’t like desk work. He’d rather roam around and B.S. with people than hunker down.”

In fact, the president and Melania love to share the White House with everyday people. “When you see him off camera in his own residence, basically being a host, he’s really good at it. It was a warm, gracious gesture,” said Mark Short, Trump’s former legislative affairs director.

Short said Trump would surprise members of Congress with the question of a tour. “How can you say no to seeing the Lincoln Bedroom?” he said. “Aides said Trump is often gregarious and charming when showing off the residence.”

The Obamas claim they didn’t allow anyone to just wander around the White House, just family, and friends. “The former Obama aide said the 44th president often had friends, family members of staff members and others for White House visits,” claimed The Post.

But we all know the Obamas used the White House to throw elaborate parties for the Hollywood crowd. During Barack and Michelle’s tenure, the White House became the celebrity place to be — all paid by the taxpayers.

“For the past seven years, from the ages of 48 to 55, President Obama has celebrated the annual occasion with a growing collection of celebrities, sports stars, business executives, movie moguls and politicians — all dancing into the small hours of the morning,” the New York Times reported.

“On Friday night and well into Saturday, Mr. Obama did it again, celebrating his 55th birthday — his last as commander in chief — with a big White House party. East Wing staff members were told to expect to be working until 4 a.m. Guests were asked not to tweet pictures (some did anyway) or spill any details,” added the Times.

It isn’t President Trump who is making a big deal out of the hole Obama left in the wall, it’s the anti-Trump media who are reporting on it. This isn’t something the president has revealed in public, yet these leftist vipers are hoping Americans will be disgusted with Trump.

The funny thing is they end up proving President Trump is actually treating the White House as the people’s house, and he is so excited to share it with his guests. He isn’t too proud to show his own amazement at living in such a historic place, and the 45th president spreads that enthusiasm with everyday people.

The Obamas acted as if it was their birthright to use the White House however they pleased, but the Trumps share our rich common history in a way making us all proud. That’s the difference between a president for the people and the man who thought it was what he was owed.
