Her “Green New Deal” was met with ridicule by those who know Socialism sounds like a dream but turns into a nightmare real fast. AOC claims Americans want Socialism. Well, Melania Trump just destroyed the former bartender. You”ll love this.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a former bartender who has now become the new rising star of the Democrats. She identifies herself as a “Democratic Socialist” and reminds many of us of the “Bernie Bros” back in 2016. Fox News contributor Michael Knowles reported, “Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, is the voice of an ignorant generation.”
It’s the latest trend among American Millennials, the majority now identify as “Socialists.” That’s the bad news. The good news is that just 32 percent of Millennials can define Socialism. And AOC and her ilk prove what happens when we allow the rabid leftists to run our public schools.
“Ocasio-Cortez’s sheer ignorance of economics, history and foreign affairs knows no bounds. Socialism is an economic disease born of envy and ignorance. Unfortunately, both abound in our present politics. The sickness has found an attractive spokeswoman — perhaps, sadly, the voice of her generation,” added Knowles.
AOC’s latest display of just how much the new Congresswoman doesn’t know happened a few days ago when she called Trump’s border wall “an abomination” just like the Berlin wall. Of course, the Berlin wall was built by Communists to prevent the East Germans from escaping to the free and capitalist West Germany.
And here’s what Ocasio-Cortez says about Socialism and Americans: “To me, what socialism means is to guarantee a basic level of dignity,” AOC said. “It’s asserting the value of saying that the America we want and the America that we are proud of is one in which all children can access a dignified education. It’s one in which no person is too poor to have the medicines they need to live. It’s to say that no individual’s civil rights are to be violated.”
Sure, Socialism sounds so good. It sounds like the utopia promised by Karl Marx. But history has taught us it always ends in death and poverty. Former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher said, “The problem with Socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money.” And now our own First Lady Melania Trump, who grew up in Communist Yugoslavia, sent Ocasio-Cortez and her cohorts a message about their grand plan.
During Monday’s rally, Melania told Venezuelan-Americans that they have not been forgotten and that the White House will fight for their freedom. She claimed to have family and friends at home that are still living under oppression and working toward taking back their liberty.
While introducing President Trump to a crowd of mostly Venezuelan-Americans in Miami, Mrs. Trump asked Americans to “pray together” for the people of Venezuela, who “are on the brink of reclaiming their own liberty.”
“It is wonderful to be here today in the beautiful city of Miami,” Mrs. Trump said. “The president and I are honored to stand with all of you as we together we support the people, the great people of Venezuela.”
“I am proud to be here with you in the United States of America as your first lady. Many of you in the room know what it feels like to be blessed with freedom after living under the oppression of socialism and communism,” Mrs. Trump continued.
“In Venezuela, the people are on the brink of reclaiming their own liberty,” Mrs. Trump said. “Today, we must let the Venezuelan people hear us all with one, united voice. There is hope, we are free, and we pray together loudly and proudly that soon the people of Venezuela will be free as well.”

Melania’s childhood was spent in a sparse two-room apartment in Sevnica, Yugoslavia (now Slovenia). Her father reluctantly joined the Communist Party so his family wouldn’t starve. Her parents secretly baptized Melania and her sister in the Catholic Church. Under Socialism and Communism, religion is always eventually outlawed. The Socialist/Communist government knows they must become their god.
It may seem crazy to you or me, but there are many younger Americans who are dazzled by Ocasio-Cortez’s big plan to change America into another failed Socialistic state. Blinded by the empty promises of free stuff, these Millennials were taught by leftist professors that capitalism is evil. Thank God we have a president and first lady who are fighting those dark forces.
President Trump said it best last night: “Socialism promises prosperity, but it delivers poverty. Socialism promises unity, but it delivers hatred and it delivers division. Socialism promises a better future, but it always returns to the darkest chapters of the past. That never fails. It always happens.” Now, make sure all your family and friends have this vital information. We can change hearts and minds with the truth.
