Ilhan Omar appeared on MSNBC claiming she was elected to be a “check and balance to the cruelty” of President Donald Trump. Well, that’s when Americans made sure she really regretted it. On MSNBC’s “AM Joy,” Rep. Ilhan Omar declared she was sent to Congress along with her far-leftist socialist colleagues to “be a check and balance to the cruelty” of Trump and his administration.
When asked about the $4.6 billion humanitarian aid package passed last week over the objections of far-leftists including Omar, the 37-year-old Congresswoman said, “This is one of the reasons why I think the public is always frustrated with politicians. We were running for office. We said send us into the majority so that we can be a check and balance to the cruelty of this administration. Now, we are in the majority we are too busy appeasing this administration.”
The truth is while Omar and her buddies Reps. Ocasio-Cortez and Rashida Tlaib claim Trump has “concentration camps” on the Southern border, they refused to vote in favor of the humanitarian aid package.
“I can see the frustration of the American people who are really disappointed that, again, we have people in power who have forgotten the purpose and the reason they were given that privilege,” Omar declared. “What I am always surprised every time we’re having a discussion in regards to policy is how people will talk about the political reality, and they won’t talk about the human reality of the policies that we are passing.”
She continued: “We take an oath, truly, to care for the American people and make sure that we’re furthering policies that are in line with our values. And we often fail short. And I think with the Democratic Party we’re so busy oftentimes trying to appease everyone we end up appeasing no one.”
She added, “I lead with moral clarity and courage, and so for me, it’s easy to make a decision about the particular policies we’re voting on.”
Well, immediately Americans sounded off on social media making it clear to Omar that they are not buying what she is selling.

Omar has done everything under the sun to become one of Capitol Hill’s most controversial lawmakers. From her rendition of the Protocols of the Elders Of Zion to seemingly siding with the Somali militiamen who were shooting at American troops during the 1993 raid that was immortalized in the book and film Black Hawk Down, Omar has always taken the wrong position, even arguably the anti-American position.
Who can forget the anti-Semitic rants and tweets? Or when the Minnesota Congresswoman called the 9/11 tragedy “some people did something?” Then, there are her recent scandals of being found guilty of campaign finance violations and tax fraud which opened up the questions about her marriages.
Did she marry her brother in a sham marriage for some purpose to do with immigration? Her own hometown newspaper, the Minneapolis Star Tribune, which is left-leaning, sent shockwaves to Capitol Hill and beyond reporting they could not disprove it.
Most damning is her response. In a hot second, she could clear this up. If anyone else was accused of marrying a sibling, most people would immediately prove otherwise. Instead, she remains as silent as the tomb. She’s taking the 5th, so to speak, as if speaking on the subject would incriminate her.
We say good luck with that. We all know the truth always comes out in the end, and it will set America free. We don’t see Ilhan Omar overcoming these salacious scandals to be re-elected. It sure looks like we will see the end to her disastrous political career come 2020.
