They are insisting that she makes a deal with the president to stop the shutdown. But to satisfy the far-left radical Democrats, she is refusing to agree to fund any part of the wall. That’s why she is mocking the president by offering $5.7 billion for border security, but a wall is not included. Well, the president just destroyed her.
Behind the scenes, Nancy Pelosi is between a rock and a hard place. She is determined to hold on to her speakership, but the problem comes from the growing far-left wing of radical Democrats who are fueled by hatred for President Donald Trump. They are adamant that the border wall is “immoral” and a symbol of “white supremacy.”
Nancy and her cohorts know if she capitulates and gives Trump the $5.7 billion for the wall, which is chump change in terms of spending in Washington, D.C., she may lose her political dominance and even be voted out as speaker. She is towing the crazy radical far-left line and that’s why she is allowing Rep. Jim Clyburn, the majority whip, to offer 5.7 billion for border security, but no wall.
“The majority whip of the House of Representatives raised the possibility of giving into President Donald Trump’s demand for $5.7 billion in border security, but with the caveat that it does not go toward construction of a wall,” the Political Insider reports.
“We see ourselves fulfilling that request” with a “smart wall,” Democratic South Carolina Rep. Jim Clyburn said to reporters Wednesday, according to Reuters. Clyburn suggested a compromise bill that could include funding for more border patrol agents, x-rays, sensors, and drones. However, the House majority whip said such legislation would bar funding for a border wall.
“While Democrats flail under their misguided leadership, Republicans continue to offer solutions. This time we are working to get federal employees paid and give Democrats time to negotiate an end to the shutdown,” a spokeswoman for House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said in an email to reporters.
“The president has stood firm in his demand for a border wall between the U.S. and Mexico. However, the $5.7 billion he’s requesting goes toward much more than just wall construction. Trump’s border security package also includes $675 million for increased inspection technology; $571 million for another 2,000 law enforcement agents; $563 million to fund 75 more immigration judges and staff to handle the backlogged immigration courts; and $211 million to hire an additional 750 Border Patrol agents,” the Political Insider added.
President Trump is fully aware of what Pelosi is up against, and yesterday after she canceled the State of the Union address, he let her know it. “The State of the Union is canceled by Nancy Pelosi because she doesn’t want to hear the truth,” said the president. “She doesn’t want the American public to hear what is going on, and she’s afraid of the truth. The super-left Democrats, the radical Democrats, what is going on in that party is shocking. I know many people who were Democrats and they are switching over right now.”
“It’s radical Democrats, they’ve become a radicalized party and I actually think they’ve become a very, very dangerous party for this country,” said Trump, who called Sen. Chuck Schumer a puppet of Pelosi. “We’ve never seen anything like this in American history.”
“We will never let the radical left control our borders,” he said. “What she is doing to the American people, what she is doing to the Constitution is a disgrace.”
The radical left Democrats are led by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. This group firmly is deluded that global warming is our most pending problem. They want to raise taxes to 70% for the “wealthy” and implement universal healthcare, or healthcare for all, paid by the Americans who are responsible and pay our taxes. Well, Americans are sick and tired of Pelosi and the far-left radicals.

President Trump destroyed Pelosi by proving she is being held hostage by the radical far-left Democrats. Americans do not want to be governed by Ocasio-Cortez. If Nancy Pelosi does, she better wake up before it’s too late.
In the end, Pelosi will have no choice but to agree to fund the wall. By offering 5.7 billion but not include the wall is ludicrous, and it proves to the American people that this is just a big game to the Speaker. All Americans should be demanding border security, and common sense says that we can’t accomplish it without a secure border wall. Poor Pelosi is now losing this fight. She’s shown her hand by offering the $5.7 billion, and every American should know the games she’s playing with our national security.
