Enjoy.)Nancy Pelosi was sworn in today as Speaker of the House, and immediately, she and far-leftists like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez promised higher taxes so they can fund free college tuition and free healthcare for everyone. Pelosi was quick to mention “Medicare-for-all” and “guaranteed jobs” programs, as 29-year-old Socialist Ocasio-Cortez called for an end to “evil capitalism.” They were in for a shock as they got utterly destroyed. You’ll love this.
The Democrats were all smiles on Capitol Hill today, retaking the majority in the House of Representatives. Nancy Pelosi was easily re-elected as Speaker of the House, while the new Democratic darling Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was running around like the prom queen on her first day in Congress.
It didn’t take long for the Democrats, who have moved to the far-left, to outline their plan for America, including a bold “new” agenda to expand government, blanket business with new regulations, raise taxes on all Americans, and push a new socialism that will deliver “free” health care and college tuition, Daily Wire reported.
The former bartender turned New York representative is so far-far-left she is vowing to oppose Pelosi’s “rules package governing congressional procedures [PAYGO],” for one ridiculous reason. Along with other far-left loonies like Bernie Sanders, Ocasio-Cortez believes it would “threaten their ability to pass single-payer health care.”
Progressives think reinstituting PAYGO would impose fiscal constraints, hindering their ability to pass massive new spending legislation. Some, like Ocasio-Cortez, want to see the end of capitalism. “I do think right now we have this no holds barred, wild west hyper-capitalism,” she said in July. “What that means is profit at any cost. Capitalism has not always existed in the world and will not always exist in the world.”
If your blood pressure is going up, you’re not alone. Pelosi’s speech was full of big spending nonsense items like so-called climate change. “We must also face the existential threat of our time: the climate crisis – a crisis manifested in natural disasters of epic proportions,” said the 78-year-old Speaker.
“The American people understand the urgency. The people are ahead of the Congress. The Congress must join them. That is why we have created the Select Committee on the Climate Crisis. The entire Congress must work to put an end to the inaction and denial of science that threaten the planet and the future,” claimed Pelosi.
Then, she moved onto gun control and identity politics. “We will make our communities safer and keep our sacred promise to the victims, survivors, and families of gun violence by passing commonsense bipartisan background check legislation,” Pelosi said. “We will make America fairer by passing the Equality Act to end discrimination against LGBTQ Americans.”
With the huge gavel in her hand, the new Speaker exclaimed, “And we will make America more American by protecting our patriotic, courageous Dreamers!”
The entire Democratic Party is getting really crazy as Democratic voters are also embracing socialism. “An overwhelming majority of respondents, 76 percent, said they would not vote for a ‘socialist’ political candidate, while only 24 percent of those polled said they would,” a July 24 poll conducted by The Hill and HarrisX found. Meanwhile, an August poll by Gallup also found that 47% of Democrats view capitalism positively, down from 56% in 2016, while 57% of view socialism positively, reported Daily Wire.
Well, Americans who identify as Republican and Independents aren’t on board with ending capitalism and embracing socialism. Twitter user “Jack Reacher” posted sarcastically, “Come to think of it, why not have free college and health care and give everyone a hundred thousand dollars a year? Let’s enjoy it until we completely turn the USA into Venezuela!”
“What is a socialists solution when socialism inevitably fails? More socialism.. because of course, the socialism we just tried wasn’t real socialism.. real socialism is rainbows,” tweeted Robert Middleton.
Outraged Americans were on social media, destroying this Democratic agenda. And, if there is any silver lining on this catastrophe of the Democratic lead House, it’s that these nutjobs will be spinning their wheels and going nowhere. Thankfully, the Senate is controlled by the Republicans, and that means Pelosi and her cohorts can’t accomplish much.
One thing they can do, however, is harass President Donald Trump by bringing up bogus investigations. Of course, after Robert Mueller’s report comes out, they will try to hold impeachment hearings, which will go nowhere. So, it will be gridlock in Washington, D.C., and as we start to look to 2020, every American should let their families and friends know this is what the Democrats are all about. We can’t go back. We must re-elect Trump in 2020.
