House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is apparently trying some new tricks to get people interested in her tired old game of bashing President Donald Trump. On Thursday, the liberal congresswoman came out to begin a press briefing at the Capitol and tried to enlist the help of a strange prop. However, the odd stunt quickly blew up in her face.
Upon taking the stage, Pelosi spied a sign that was standing on an easel next to her and decided to move it closer to the podium, saying, “I like to be close to the children. And in this administration, they need us all to stay close to them.”
This was an incredibly ironic move for the California Democrat, who is a vocal pro-choice advocate, despite claiming to be a devout Catholic. Here’s a bit of her voting record on the issue:
- Voted NO on banning federal health coverage that includes abortion.
- Voted NO on restricting interstate transport of minors to get abortions.
- Voted NO on making it a crime to harm a fetus during another crime.
- Voted NO on banning partial-birth abortion except to save mother’s life.
- Voted NO on funding for health providers who don’t provide abortion info.
- Voted NO on banning partial-birth abortions.
- Voted NO on barring transporting minors to get an abortion.
I wouldn’t want Pelosi close to any of my children or anyone else’s children for that matter.
Pelosi also slammed Trump for defending Bill O’Reilly during her Thursday briefing, after the Fox News anchor was recently revealed to have paid out $13 million to five separate women who had made sexual harassment allegations against him.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said it is “sickening” that President Trump has come to the defense of Bill O’Reilly following news reports that Fox News has paid five women millions to settle sexual harassment allegations leveled against their star commentator.
Mr. Trump told The New York Times this week that Mr. O’Reilly should not have settled and said, “I don’t think Bill would do anything wrong.”
Asked about his comments at her daily briefing on Thursday, Mrs. Pelosi, California Democrat, said it fits a pattern of being disrespectful toward women that Mr. Trump exhibited during the 2016 presidential campaign.
“Now he is defending some disrespectful behavior on the part of O’Reilly, and it is sickening,” Mrs. Pelosi said. [Source: The Washington Times]
If you want a good laugh, you can always just watch Nancy Pelosi’s daily press briefings. Boy, are they ever entertaining. If she isn’t isn’t giving us all a perfect living representation of the word “hypocrisy,” she’s throwing Republicans under the bus for allegations which have zero evidence to back them up. Truly, she’s the gift that keeps on giving for anyone who gets a kick out of watching liberals publicly skewer themselves.
