Red Lobster Pulls Ads From Tucker Carlson — Gets Hit With Bad News As It Backfires

Liberals love to silence conservatives. A common tactic among left-wing groups is to pressure companies to pull ads from conservative talk shows. Most recently, they targeted Tucker Carlson’s show. Red Lobster was one of the more outspoken critics. Now, they’re facing the consequences of their bigotry.

Democrats can’t handle a fair and open discussion. They only succeed when they can censor, silence, or intimidate their critics. While President Donald Trump faces daily criticism of his policies — on nearly every major media outlet — few liberals are faced with the same scrutiny.

Liberals refuse to debate conservatives. They often ban conservative speakers on college campuses. Young millennials would rather be rid of free speech, in order to protect their fragile views.

Clearly, the left’s strategy is to prevent conservatives from speaking their minds. Because they know, if more people learn about the virtues of conservative leadership, they would drop Democrats like a bad habit.

Left-wing groups frequently attack conservative-leaning shows on Fox News. In recent years, they attacked Bill O’Reilly (who left the network) and Sean Hannity. Most recently, they attack Tucker Carlson over his criticism of unchecked migration into the country. He pointed out that far too many low-skilled workers are being let into America — a policy that hurts all of us.

Speaking of unregulated immigration of those without a college education into the country, Carlson said, “Nobody even tries to defend it. Instead, our leaders demand that you shut up and accept it. We have a moral obligation to admit the world’s poor, they tell us, even if it makes our own country poor and dirtier and more divided.” [Source: Daily Wire]

Of course, Democrats attacked his statements. They targeted the companies that advertise on Carlson’s show as a petty attempt at crippling him. The goal, naturally, was to force Fox News to drop Carlson — or at the very least make him apologize so that they’ll be too scared to speak the truth in the future, out of fear of losing money.

Among the advertisers that have agreed to pull their ads from Carlson’s show is Red Lobster…

“Red Lobster’s advertising buying guidelines reflect our core values and commitment to supporting programming that represents the highest standards of good taste, fair practice and objectivity. We reserve the right to make changes to our purchases when the dialogue is no longer in line with our criteria.” [Source: Daily Wire]

While other companies simply caved to the left’s intimidation, Red Lobster took the extra step to slander Tucker Carlson’s show. Since when has exposing something that hurts America not fair or objective. And since when has a restaurant chain played the role of judge in our public conversations?

Sorry Red Lobster, you serve sub-par seafood in smelly, dirty restaurants. You’re hardly in the position to decide what Carlson can or can’t say on his show.

Fox News stood by their host, refusing to be bullied by the left.

Users online have been particularly disgusted by Red Lobster’s attack on Carlson. Why would a supposed family-friendly restaurant chain come out attacking a host over politics? Maybe they have a few too many “undocumenteds” working in their kitchens?

Or perhaps their CEO and leaders are arrogant liberal con artists who love to signal their virtue.

Regardless of the reason, many called out the restaurant, urging others to boycott it.

It’s bizarre that a company that should be politically neutral would risk their own business by attacking a talk show. Didn’t they realize that millions of Americans (i.e.: customers) are conservative and fans of Tucker Carlson? Were they so arrogant that they thought they could do without the financial support of hard-working Americans?

But this is the left in a nutshell. Their “virtue” is more important to them than serving American customers. Business owners across all industries frequently reveal their true colors: as being America-hating, politically-toxic, left-wing con artists. They love taking our cash day-in, day-out. But if we stand up for our values, beliefs, and traditions, they throw us under the bus.

Maybe a boycott will teach Red Lobster a lesson. Or maybe not. The bottom line is, everyone needs to know just where this company stands before they plan their next restaurant visit.
