Rose O’Donnell: File “Articles Of Impeachment” Against Trump — Made To Regret It

Rosie O’Donnell believes it’s time to file “articles of impeachment” against President Donald Trump in order to get him out of office, never mind the fact that he hasn’t committed any impeachable offenses. No sooner had O’Donnell embarked on this absurd tangent, however, then she was made to regret it by those with much more common sense.

On Wednesday night, Rosie O’Donnell was leaving a screening of Natasha Lyonne’s new Netflix series “Russian Doll” at New York City’s Metrograph, when TMZ asked for her thoughts about President Donald Trump’s recent Supreme Court win which upheld the ban on transgender individuals serving in the military.

This prompted the so-called comedian to bring up impeachment. “[Trump] kicks anyone he can,” she said. “Any minority group. Anyone who doesn’t look exactly like him, he devalues and abuses wantonly with impunity, and we need to get him out, and we need to start with articles of impeachment right away.”

Of course, you cannot impeach a president simply because you’re miffed that the Supreme Court happened to rule in his favor. O’Donnell and her cronies are going to have to get used to this sooner or later, especially considering the fact that Trump will likely get to appoint another Supreme Court Justice in the near future, as Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s health is not the best.

In speaking with TMZ, O’Donnell quickly set her sights on 2020, spouting oft a list of female candidates she’d like to see replace Trump and proving, as she did in 2016, that a candidate’s genitalia is the main factor in securing her vote.

“I think Amy Klobuchar, Kamala Harris, there’s a bunch of women who are really strong out there,” said O’Donnell. “And Elizabeth Warren. I’m a huge supporter of hers as well. But nothing would make me happier than Kamala Harris, I gotta tell you.”

And why does O’Donnell have such an affinity for Kamala Harris? Apparently, it’s her “large vocabulary.”

“To watch her question all of those senators with the kind of precision that she does,” said O’Donnell. “And she has an actual large vocabulary, unlike our president who says we had a great, great, great, great meeting.”

What outspoken leftist celebrities like Rosie O’Donnell don’t seem to realize is that their misguided attacks on the president only embolden his growing base of supporters.

“Perfect!!! More reasons to vote for Trump!” commented Facebook user Courtney Moran.

“And I am concerned with the opinions of anyone in Hollywood why????” echoed Melinda Lubeck Dana. “I could not possibly care less.”

“Why does anyone care what a celebrity thinks about politics in the first place?” wondered Lisa Walker Jones. “They have absolutely no gravitas in this area, merely their own opinions like the rest of us. Many of them have limited schooling as well. Just because one is well known doesn’t confer on them any extra wisdom or knowledge!”

Isn’t it ironic that Rosie O’Donnell has taken such issue with Trump’s transgender military ban, while at the same time pledging to cast her vote for anyone with a vagina? Apparently, it’s okay for her to discriminate based on gender, but the president cannot institute a ban in our military without catching a load of crap.

Rosie and her colleagues might want to seriously consider keeping their big mouths shut now that Democrats are beginning to throw their hats in the ring for 2020. After all, their incessant cries of support and threats to leave the country if Trump won didn’t exactly help Hillary Clinton, did they? Come to think of it, it’s now two years later, and we’re still waiting for Rosie O’Donnell to pack her bags and high tail it to Canada. My guess is that we’ll have to keep on waiting.
