After Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf warned illegal immigrants of a potential ICE raid, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders had a brutal message that has the liberal mayor sweating bullets.
When it comes to Americans, Democrats have repeatedly proven that their loyalty lies with the potential votes of millions of illegal aliens, many of whom despise our nation, its values, and obviously its laws. Despite previously supporting legislation which cracked down on illegal immigration, liberals discovered that illegals could secure future elections in their favor, displaying no remorse for protecting repeat criminal offenders over their own people.
Showcasing her willingness to endanger both federal authorities and her own citizens, Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf issued a public statement, warning dangerous illegal migrants of their impending arrests, many of whom were wanted for assault, weapons charges, and even sex crimes against children.

Despite meeting with a legal advisor before releasing her detrimental public service announcement, Schaaf self-righteously stated that she would shamelessly face any consequences she might incur for defending the criminal aliens. Now, the Trump administration is making sure she delivers on her promise.
After Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf vowed she’s willing to go to jail to protect criminal illegal immigrants, she’s discovered that she may finally get her wish, since White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders just announced that the Department of Justice is looking to charge the liberal mayor for attempting to “conceal, harbor, or shield” an illegal alien.
According to The Daily Wire, Sanders confirmed the investigation on March 1, adding that the mayor’s decision to aid and abet lawbreakers is “outrageous” and put federal authorities in imminent danger.
On Thursday, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters that the Department of Justice is “review[ing]” the potentially illegal actions of Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf, who made headlines this week after tipping off illegal immigrants to a potential raid by ICE, an act that could be considered attempting to “conceal, harbor, or shield” an illegal alien, a violation of 8 U.S. Code § 1324.
“I think it’s outrageous that a mayor would circumvent federal authorities and certainly put them in danger by making a move such as that,” Sanders said. “And that’s currently under review by the Department of Justice.”
The sanctuary city mayor had previously acknowledged that she would be willing to serve jail time for what she felt was her “duty” to warn illegal aliens with criminal records of possible federal arrests, the Los Angeles Times reports. Now, she might have the opportunity to put her political propaganda into action, as her behavior could easily be considered obstruction of justice.
“The Oakland mayor’s decision to publicize her suspicions about ICE operations further increased that risk for my officers and alerted criminal aliens — making clear that this reckless decision was based on her political agenda with the very federal laws that ICE is sworn to uphold,” ICE’s acting director, Thomas D. Homan, said in a statement Tuesday.
Thanks to Schaaf’s efforts, hundreds of illegal aliens with felonies were tipped off about upcoming raids. In fact, despite ICE’s four-day operation, which resulted in 232 arrests for “serious or violent” crimes or “significant or multiple” misdemeanors, at least 864 illegals with criminal histories are on the run.
“What she did is no better than a gang lookout yelling ‘police’ when a police cruiser comes in the neighborhood, except she did it to a whole community,” Homan told “Fox & Friends.” “There’s over 800 significant public safety threat criminals … that we are unable to locate because of that warning, so that community’s a lot less safe than it would’ve been.”
Our elected officials are held to a higher standard, especially when it comes to the law and protecting their citizens. Illegal aliens are not American citizens and have broken our laws. The fact that we have politicians defending these criminal foreign nationals above the people they’ve legally sworn to serve is inexcusable. It’s about time that an administration holds them accountable for their aiding and abetting criminals for votes.
