If You See These Signs, Do Not Call! Here's The Sinister And Evil Truth Behind Them
Signs that have been seen around Kansas

A shocking new practice is on the rise, and it all seems to center around job advertisement signs placed along busy roads. However, if you should stumble across one and be tempted to call, don’t do it. There’s a sinister and evil truth behind them that is putting lives at risk, and everyone should be warned.

Most recently, a woman from Kansas has taken to Facebook in order to issue an urgent warning in hopes that the entire country takes notice. As it turns out, it all centers around the typical “we’re hiring” signs seen alongside busy roads, but everything isn’t exactly as it seems.

Although the job description always offers higher-than-usual salaries in order to draw in hopeful prospects, Danielle Thompson states that there’s just one thing you need to know. According to a post she wrote, human traffickers are actually using these signs to lure in young children and women.

“Ads like these are just one of the ways people are getting abducted all across the United States,” she wrote. Fortunately, Danielle even went so far as to offer a few tips in order to identify one such scheme, ensuring that no one ever gives the number a call.

Human trafficking is not a joke and not something to be taken lightly. Especially considering #Kansas is the center hub…

For one, she states that all of these posters merely have a phone number that isn’t affiliated with a company. Secondly, they always seem to include just the first name of a person to contact – usually a woman since people tend to trust them more.

In all, Danielle states that the signs present a disturbing reality, particularly in Kansas as it’s the central hub of the trafficking movement. “The numbers just in abductions has risen tremendously this year with 151 calls and only 51 confirmed and it’s only the beginning of summer,” she continued.

However, hopefully by raising awareness, society can cripple a popular method that traffickers are using to kidnap people. With that being said, there’s one time-old rule that always seems to apply here – and that’s “if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.”

It doesn’t take a genius to know that you’re not going to make thousands of dollars a month babysitting or cleaning houses. Beyond that, if someone could get paid over $5,000 every month to travel, why wouldn’t everyone be doing it?

It all boils down to common sense. Jobs that pay thousands of dollars a month often don’t need an ad outside of conventional methods like posting to one or two career websites such as careerbuilder.com or monster.com.

Don’t let greed blind you. Just think of it this way – that sign has been up for weeks, right? Well then, why hasn’t the position been filled at this point? Chances are, there’s either a catch or something’s not right. Be smart. Your gut will usually be the first to tell you if something makes sense or not. Your best bet is to listen to it because, when it comes down to it, nothing is worth your life – especially not money.
