Sign Appears Outside Of Florida Church Overnight, 4 Words Leaves Liberals Furious

A Florida church is getting a bit more attention than usual, and it’s not just because they’re preaching the Word of God. As it turns out, leaders of the congregation decided to put a sign out front of the building overnight – and it took just 4 words to leave liberals across the country downright furious.

With so much evil lurking in the world, it seems that no place is safe these days. Proving just that are the horrors that took place in Texas recently when a deranged gunman walked into a church, where he shot and killed 26 people and left even more injured.

Of course, Christians are typically pretty peaceful as Jesus Christ taught us to love and forgive – but it seems that a new dawn is upon us — one of preparedness. Sure, we’re taught to “turn the other cheek,” but contrary to popular belief, that doesn’t mean that we just have to stand there and take it when our physical well-being is threatened.

Take, for example, the situation previously mentioned that happened in Texas. Even as Christians, we have the right to defend ourselves should someone put our lives or that of a loved one, or anyone else’s for that matter, in danger – and it looks like the Christian community is coming to terms with this.

In fact, a church in Florida is taking things one step further as they’ve just erected a sign overnight that sends a warning to anyone with nefarious intentions. Even better yet, it took just 4 words to leave liberals across the country downright furious – and the message is absolutely perfect.

According to The Blaze, the River at Tampa Bay Church has put up a display telling everyone, both congregants and strangers alike, that “we are heavily armed.” However, the sign gets even better when you read the bold message in its entirety:

Of course, the shocking message has left people all across the country downright shocked as an image of it has since gone viral. However, for the church, they’re glad it stands as a warning to keep the wolves at bay.

“It is a deterrent,” associate pastor Allen Hawes told Tampa Bay Times. “Look at what is going on. In the past two months, look at what happened in Texas. Look at what happened in Las Vegas. Because we are a church that is on television, we are very involved in the community. We want people to know that this is a safe zone.”

No one wants to imagine the worst – but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be prepared in order to keep those we love as safe as possible. In fact, the recent event in Texas has forced many churches to do some thinking about difficult decisions and how they will keep their place of worship safe, whether that means evaluating their defenses or forming an escape plan should something so horrid come to fruition.

As for anyone wanting to attack the River at Tampa Bay Church, though, they may want to think twice. “If you walk through the door with the intention to harm, that sign serves as a deterrent to you,” Hawes told the paper. “We are not a soft target. People here will defend their families.”

The Second Amendment is hands down the best thing we can use to help defend ourselves and the ones we love – period. Just like what happened in Texas, the only thing that can stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with one.

It doesn’t matter what regulations the government puts out there, vile men will always find a way to get their hands on a gun if their intent is to do evil. The only thing we can do is prepare ourselves should the situation ever arise – and it’s always better for someone willing to do harm to another person to be put down than an innocent man not be able to make it home to his family because he wasn’t prepared. Sadly, that’s the world we live in these days. It’s up to us to be ready for whatever comes our way.
