Springsteen claimed Trump “doesn’t have a grasp of the deep meaning of what it means to be an American.” But that’s not all he said. “The stewardship of the nation … has been thrown away to somebody who doesn’t have a clue as to what that means,” he added. Well, that’s when poor Bruce got a rude awakening. You’ll love this.
Bruce Springsteen is 70 years old, and for many Americans who grew up with his many hits as the soundtrack of their teen years, “the Boss” was the rock n’ roll icon who epitomized what it was to be a patriotic hard-working American.
Songs like “Born in the USA” and “Glory Days” skyrocketed Springsteen to fame especially with the blue-collar class of Americans living in “flyover” country. Now, Springsteen has abandoned much of his fan base for political correctness as he sides with the globalists and political elite.
It’s a betrayal that many, many Americans won’t ever forget.
Springsteen started the feud with Trump by refusing to play at his inauguration. According to Billboard, after Trump’s was inaugurated, Springsteen claimed Trump was a “flagrant, toxic narcissist” and once described the president with “no sense of decency, no sense of responsibility about him.”
Springsteen also campaigned for Hillary Clinton. He showed up at Hillary’s election-eve Philadelphia rally with Beyonce and JayZ. We all remember Ms. Clinton had to have big-named stars at that last rally before the election just so people would show up. After they performed their music and speeches started, the rally-goers left.
Now, Springsteen is back to trash the president. You’d think Bruce, who professes to be for the “working man,” would at least give Trump credit for the awesome economy that has helped so many Americans. Unfortunately, Bruce Springsteen is just another millionaire entertainer who isn’t brave enough to go against the grain.
Bruce trashed Trump during his CBS This Morning interview with Gayle King.
“It’s just frightening, you know? We’re living in a frightening time. The stewardship of the nation … has been thrown away to somebody who doesn’t have a clue as to what that means,” Bruce Springsteen told King in response to a video showing a Trump “Keep America Great” stump speech, in which he said he “didn’t need little Bruce Springsteen” and other celebrities to beat Hillary Clinton.
“And unfortunately, we have somebody who I feel doesn’t have a grasp of the deep meaning of what it means to be an American,” Springsteen said.
Bruce claimed Trump’s candidacy was a “tragedy for democracy.” He also went after Trump during his “Springsteen on Broadway” show last year, telling a New York City audience “we’re just going through a terrible chapter in the battle for the soul of our nation.”
Patriots blasted Springsteen as the one who has lost the meaning of being a true American.
“Right. The economy just turned around on its own. Unemployment just magically went down. Mfg jobs miraculously appeared. Maybe Trump found 0bama’s magic wand… Shut up you old fool,” tweeted SuzieQ.

What people like Bruce Springsteen fail to realize is that the Democrat Party is no longer for the middle-class or for minorities.
Springsteen grew up in the 1960s and 70s when the Republican Party went through Watergate and the Democrat Party backed the anti-war movement. Now, we have President Trump who is the one who is refusing to give in to the elite military-industrial complex. We saw the backlash he got by both Democrats and the GOP elite when Trump announced that we would pull out of Syria.
The Democrat Party hurts minorities by advocating for government programs hoping to keep them on public assistance. If Bruce Springsteen was being honest about his politics, he’d have to recognize the Democrats are for big government and the real patriots are those who support Trump. Like the majority of the Hollywood crowd, Springsteen is just another lemming who will be judged as being on the wrong side of history.
