Democrats have put her in charge their voter program in key battleground states where Abrams claims the GOP is sending off-duty police officers to scare off “voters of color” at polling places in 2020. The failed gubernatorial candidate is hinting she is going to have her own muscle to scare off “white voters.” Well, she was quickly made to regret it.
Ever since she lost the 2018 gubernatorial race to Brian Kemp in Georgia, Stacey Abrams refuses to admit she lost fairly. Instead, she blames the GOP who she says suppressed black votes and unlawfully purged the voter rolls to their own advantage.
Of course, Abrams has no proof. If she did, she would have filed for an investigation and immediate recount. Instead, the new darling of the Democrats has remained defiant and is still running around crying foul play telling people “I won the election.”
Now, she is back and is ready to wreak havoc in key battleground states as the Democrat in charge of their new voter program. The bitter loser is making wild accusations about the Republican National Committee claiming they have off-duty police officers whose job will be to scare off “voters of color.”
The program, called Fair Fight 2020, would help “Democratic Party leaders and activists” in over a dozen battleground states “to immediately begin building systems to make sure their voters have minimal problems casting ballots and that those ballots are counted,” the Washington Post reported Tuesday.
“We know that we also face foreign influence that is being denied by the White House, by the would-be tinpot dictator of Donald Trump, but also that Moscow Mitch is stopping voter rights legislation and election security legislation,” Abrams told Rachel Maddow Tuesday night.
“But we also know they just lifted a consent decree that’s kept Republicans and the RNC from going into local communities and intimidating voters by having off-duty officers tell people that they are monitoring their votes,” Abrams claimed.
We don’t recall seeing any off-duty police officers scaring anyone at any polling place in the past. Maybe Stacey needs a lesson in real voter suppression by the New Black Panther Party:
However, what makes Stacey Abrams appointment as the Democrat in charge of polling places in key battleground states really scary is her own link to the New Black Panther Party. Right after the 2018 midterms when Abrams lost, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported on Abrams being fully supported by the New Black Panther Party after several videos and photos surfaced.
“Hashim Nzinga, national chairman of the New Black Panther Party, knows that people are talking about those pictures of members campaigning for Stacey Abrams while carrying long guns. The photos and a video went viral, especially after Republican Brian Kemp shared them on social media on Sunday morning and said they proved that Abrams is too radical for Georgia,” AJC reported.
Could Stacey Abrams be planning something similar for those key battleground states? Is this why she is making outlandish accusations about so-called “off-duty police officers,” as she sets the stage to have her own muscle at polling places?
We shouldn’t dismiss the possibility.
Abrams knows there is no evidence of off-duty officers favoring the GOP patrolling polling places. It’s a ludicrous accusation. Yet, she made sure to make that claim on live TV. We know the Democrats are in desperation mode when it comes to the 2020 election. We should be on guard to expect anything, and nothing is off the table.
Abrams is also sending signals she is open to be the vice-president nominee. “I would be honored to be considered by any nominee,” the failed gubernatorial candidate told the New York Times on Tuesday. “But my responsibility is to focus on the primary. And that means using the primary as an opportunity to build the apparatus to fight voter suppression.”
Stacey Abrams is a known scam artist in Georgia. “Abrams owes more than $50,000 to the Internal Revenue Service and about $170,000 more in credit card and student loan debt, according to personal financial disclosure documents the candidate for governor released this week,” reports the Political Insider.
She also has a history of manipulating the voting system in Georgia.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Abrams headed the New Georgia Project, which was just like ACORN. Abrams was found to have mishandled thousands of voter registration cards in Georgia. She took in the money for the registration drive and delivered next to nothing.
Well, now we know why the Democrats turned to Stacey Abrams to head their new voter program for 2020. She has a history of scamming the voting system in Georgia and refused to disavow the New Black Panther Party during the midterm elections.
Stacey Abrams is the perfect mixture of corruption and playing the race card. The Trump campaign better keep an eye on everything she intends to do.
