The 45-year-old Democrat claimed the president was failing America in every way possible. She said the economy was horrible, claimed the Democrats are begging to fix our border problem, and promoted Socialism in America. That’s when fact-checkers destroyed her. You’ll love this.
If you watched the State of the Union on live TV, followed by Stacey Abrams rebuttal, the sharp contrast was evident. President Trump’s SOTU is being lauded as one of the best given by any president, while Abrams rebuttal was packed with lies and falsehoods. Fact-checkers were quick to expose her.
Speaking before an almost entirely female audience — which stood silently throughout — Abrams declared: “The Republican tax bill rigged the system against working people. Rather than bringing back jobs, plants are closing, layoffs are looming, and wages struggle to keep pace with the actual cost of living,” she claimed, Breitbart reported.
If there is one aspect of Trump’s presidency that has been under-reported and ignored by the mainstream media, it’s the booming economy which is breaking records. “Currently, there are more jobs available in the U.S. than there are unemployed people to fill them. Manufacturing, in particular, has soared: the U.S. economy has defied the low expectations of the Obama administration to add the most manufacturing jobs in more than 20 years,” Breitbart added.
But that’s not all. Even leftists on Public Radio tested Trump’s tax cuts and were shocked they helped lower and middle-income earners the most. And what about the claim the Democrats love to make that Trump’s tax cuts only help the rich? Completely false.
H&R Block’s Aaron Martinez said that although critics claimed that Trump’s tax reform would only benefit the rich: “The new rules don’t always give much back to highly paid workers in a state like California. They pay higher state income taxes than residents in other states, and now their ability to deduct those taxes will be capped.”
And while Abrams painted the economy as struggling and the future bleak, Trump has helped the economy soar to 3 percent growth, creating 304,000 new jobs last month alone, and boosting wages for blue-collar workers.
Abrams also got destroyed over her claims about the border, kids in cages, and declaring the Democrats stand ready to effectively secure our ports and borders. It’s no secret the Democrats have vowed to oppose the wall. They can’t muster a reason and refuse to meet with Angel parents who have to bury their murdered children, killed at the hands of illegal aliens.
Then, we have Abrams blatantly lying about the “kids in cages” at the border. In May 2018, the Democrats resurrected old photos of kids in cages from 2014 and blamed Trump. “A number of prominent liberals — and even a former Obama administration official — shared the photos, mistakenly believing they depicted the Trump administration’s treatment of immigrant children,” Business Insider reported.
Trump didn’t put kids in cages, Barack Obama did. Next, Abrams tackled free tuition from pre-K through college. “Children deserve an excellent education from cradle to career,” said the failed candidate from Georgia, hinting at the Democrats newest promise to use taxpayers dollars to give free tuition for all, as they move closer and closer to making America a Socialist state.
This would burden taxpayers and along with the other big proposal by Democrats that Abrams also touted, free Medicare for all. According to avowed Socialists Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie Sanders, “wealthy” Americans would be taxed up to 70%.
The problem is super-rich people receive their income in the form of capital gains, which are taxed at a lower rate, Bloomberg reported. They go on to say taxing up to 70% would obliterate the middle-class who aren’t wealthy enough to throw their income into capital gains. That’s exactly what happens in Socialist states. The middle-class disappears. You have the ultra-wealthy and then you have people starving.
As the United Kingdom edged toward Socialism, Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher famously said, “The trouble with Socialism is that eventually, you run out of other people’s money.”
That’s why President Trump made it crystal clear during his SOTU speech Americans will always reject Socialism. “Here, in the United States, we are alarmed by new calls to adopt Socialism in our country,” the president said. “America was founded on liberty and independence – not government coercion, domination, and control. We are born free, and we will stay free.”
“Tonight, we renew our resolve that America will never be a Socialist country,” Trump declared to roaring applause by the Republicans as the Democrats stayed seated, upset they aren’t getting their way. And they won’t. The hard truths about Socialism are evident every day in the news when we look at Venezuela.
Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer made sure the Democrats did not applaud when the president vowed America would not embrace Socialism ever. This was shocking and should scare every American into rejecting any and all Democrats, who are like wolves in sheep’s clothing.
Abrams smiled as she pushed this new radical agenda. All your family and friends must get this vital information. America will disappear into darkness if the Democrats win back the White House in 2020.
