Stewart and an armed Border Patrol agent came barreling down on the shooter and caused him to freeze. “I ran right immediately at him. I scared the hell out of him,” said Stewart. Well, Rep. Ilhan Omar and her Democratic cohorts are calling for gun control, and they get destroyed by these heroes. You’ll love this.
Thanks to two heroes, many lives were saved on Saturday night. The man who fired a semi-automatic weapon inside the Chabad of Poway synagogue in San Diego on Saturday froze, dropped his gun, and sprinted to his car when he saw combat veteran Oscar Stewart come barreling toward him, yelling so loud the priest at a neighboring church could hear.
“Get down!” Stewart yelled, according to his wife and others who were at the scene. “You m*therfucker! I’m going to kill you!”
Others who were there later told him it sounded like four or five people were shouting. He thinks maybe an angel was standing behind him and speaking through his voice. When the shooter ran, he immediately gave chase.
Stewart, 51, told The Daily Caller on Sunday he doesn’t remember any conscious thought from the moment he heard the gunshots until it was all over — he just acted on instinct to stop the shooter and prevent him from leaving so he couldn’t hurt more people somewhere else. The combat veteran said his military training kicked in.
“I knew I had to be within five feet of this guy so his rifle couldn’t get to me,” Stewart said. “So I ran immediately toward him, and I yelled as loud as I could. And he was scared. I scared the hell out of him.”
Jonathan Morales, an off-duty Border Patrol agent, also was miraculously in the right place at the right time and armed. Morales, whose quick actions likely saved lives in the Chabad of Poway synagogue shooting, was on a journey of rediscovering his Jewish heritage and brought his weapon to pray after being urged to do so by the rabbi, the Times of Israel reported.
“Morales recently discovered his Jewish roots,” Rabbi Yisroel Goldstein, who was injured in the shooting, said at a press conference on Sunday. “He would travel three and a half hours from El Centro to pray with us at our shul. He felt this was his house of worship. And many times I said, ‘Jonathan, you work for the border patrol. Please arm yourself when you are here; we never know when we will need it.’”
Morales converged with Stewart chasing the shooter out to the parking lot. Stewart says Morales may have saved his life and pointed to his use of a civilian’s gun as evidence that gun control isn’t the answer to these kinds of tragedies. “It takes a good guy with a gun to stop a bad guy with a gun,” he told the Daily Caller.
However, we still have the Democrats calling for gun control. “Love is the answer, love is the way and yes less gun! #no more thoughts and prayers,” tweeted Rep. Omar. Well, one less gun at the synagogue would have meant a lot of dead people. This is really rich coming from the Minnesota Congresswoman who has made numerous anti-Semitic remarks.

Then, we have Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who also was pushing legislation banning all semi-automatics, which are not “assault weapons.” Most modern guns are semi-automatic.
“Heartbroken to hear of the San Diego synagogue shooting, particularly so on this final day of Passover. We have a responsibility to love + protect our neighbors. The longer the Senate delays holding a vote on #HR8, the more we put Americans at risk,” tweeted AOC.

Conservative reporter Ryan Saavedra was quick to point out AOC’s hypocrisy. “Ocasio-Cortez: -Politicized New Zealand mosque shootings -Is now politicizing Poway synagogue shootings -Was totally silent about the Easter day bombings at Christian churches in Sri Lanka AOC only seems to care about victims when she can use them to push her gun control agenda,” tweeted Saavedra.

Of course, Adam “Shifty” Schiff had to weigh in: “Another despicable and violent act of anti-Semitism — this time at a synagogue in Poway, California at the end of Passover. We must act to end the scourge of gun violence and come together against the disturbing rise of violent hatred across the U.S.”

Donald Trump, Jr. countered Schiff’s tweet with posting, “Amazing!!! This is what these incredible men and women do every day (even carrying while off duty) and despite being vilified non stop by the leftists and the media. A good guy with a gun yet again stops a piece of garbage.”

It’s delusional to think by banning guns we will eradicate evil in the world. Bad people will get guns no matter if it’s illegal, and the only way to ensure these evildoers are stopped is to have good guys with guns. It’s just common sense. Gun control doesn’t work.
It takes guns away from good law-abiding citizens while the dregs of society can declare open season. Let the radical leftists know you and your family won’t be open season to all the demented and evil people roaming the earth just so these Democratic rats can score their political points.
