Texas Mom Gets Charged For Her 4-Year-Old Daughter’s Death, Has Sickening 3-Word Excuse

A mother from Texas was charged for her 4-year-old daughter’s death after the little girl died from severe injuries. When the police asked her why she hadn’t called for help sooner, she replied with a sickening 3-word excuse.

Jessica Briones was the mother of a beautiful 4-year-old girl. However, when her daughter became severely injured, she chose to ignore the problem, which eventually led to her child’s death. As the San Antonio police began to investigate, things quickly became obviously suspicious.

On September 5, Briones brought her daughter to the San Antonio police substation with severe head trauma. According to Fox News, she had “told police her daughter began vomiting the morning before she was brought to the substation.” When police officers looked over the young girl, she appeared to be suffering from extensive arm, face, and head injuries, so they immediately sent her to the hospital.

Meanwhile, the police were puzzled as to why a loving mother wouldn’t have called 911 to get her child help sooner – given how many serious injuries the little girl had. However, nothing could have prepared them for Briones’ sick 3-word-excuse — her phone was “low on minutes.”

Once doctors had the opportunity to assess the young child, it became clear that this child had been abused. She had a swollen nose, eight scars on the back of her head, a black eye, deflated left lung, a fractured vertebra, a swollen wrist, two swollen arms, a bruised ankle, and detached tissue between her gums and upper lip.

She had been living in a nightmare, with a mother who couldn’t care less about her daughter’s well-being. Sadly, in addition, the girl had multiple brain bleeds and severe brain swelling. Unfortunately, she passed away at the hospital the same day she was brought in from the police station.

The sick mother has since been arrested on suspicion of causing injuries to a child, according to San Antonio Express-News. An autopsy is being conducted on the child to determine the exact cause of death. Briones faces up to 99 years in prison if she’s convicted and her charges could be upgraded, depending on the autopsy results.

It’s a shame that this young girl was treated like a piece of garbage. She will never know what it felt like to be loved by someone who truly cares for her and wants the best for her. Although her time on earth was cut short, she’s in heaven where she’s safe in God’s arms.

As for her mother, she better be prepared for what’s coming for her because children are a blessing from God, and those who abuse that experience have to face His wrath. Perhaps she should have thought about that before she laid a hand on a precious child. She put her daughter through living hell, but that’s exactly what’s going to be waiting for her soon enough.
