A shocking video has emerged out of Wilmington, North Carolina, where a vile she-thug decided to plow into an innocent woman with her vehicle as bystanders watched in horror. Now, the woman is behind bars, but what is truly shocking is the second discovery police made after she was arrested.
Criminals are known for being stupid, but one woman from North Carolina took it to an entirely new level when she mowed down another woman in broad daylight after accusing her of being her man’s mistress. The video clip of the shocking hit-and-run has gone viral on social media, but what’s more shocking than the footage is what police found in the car after the suspect was apprehended.
How on earth does someone decide they are going to get into their vehicle and attempt to murder another person? Worse, how does someone decide that it’s a good idea to do this with their child in the car? That is exactly what police say 19-year-old Shadasia Ellison of Wilmington did, on Monday, January 8, 2018.
Ellison was recorded by someone, who witnessed the vicious hit-and-run, and then, she was hunted down by police, who later found that a small child was in her vehicle at the time of the attack the she-thug launched with her car.
According to a spokesperson for the Wilmington Police Department, officers responded to the 1400 block of Willard Street in the Houston Moore community around 1:15 p.m. on Monday after receiving a call reporting a woman being hit by a vehicle. After investigating video footage that was captured of the incident, which was broadcast live on Facebook, police identified Ellison and arrested her on Wednesday, January 10, 2018.
Police said that the video showed Ellison intentionally hitting the victim who was identified as 19-year-old Tameka Cooper of Wilmington. According to local news source WECT, Cooper suffered a minor leg injury and was taken to New Hanover Regional Medical Center for treatment.
In the clip, one bystander can be heard screaming, “Move girl, Oh my God,” as Ellison stepped on the accelerator and mowed down her victim in the snow. Then, Ellison could be seen throwing her vehicle into reverse and pulling away from the wall that she had just smashed the victim into. The victim is seen getting up off the ground and running out into the street as Ellison fled the scene.
Ellison was reportedly booked into the New Hanover County Detention Center under a $1 million bond and is now being charged with attempted first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, felony hit-and-run with injury, reckless driving with wanton disregard, probation violation, and child abuse. This kind of thug behavior is inexcusable and should be punished with the maximum sentence after Ellison goes before a court. If this doesn’t put Ellison behind bars for a considerable number of years, the community of Wilmington needs a new prosecutor.
The fact that Ellison was charged with violating probation means that she has no problem breaking the law or victimizing innocent people. Vile criminals like this don’t belong in society because they live with a thug-mentality and take no responsibility for their actions. When Ellison decided to put a child in her car, then drive to where her victim was in order to run her over with a moving vehicle, she became guilty of premeditated attempted murder in addition to the other charges she’s facing.
Police have not said whether or not the child found to be in the vehicle was Ellison’s, but regardless, how anyone could endanger an innocent child by putting them in the middle of a deadly situation like that is truly mind-blowing. If the child is Ellison’s, she should have her custody revoked immediately. People like Ellison don’t belong raising children. The fact of the matter is that when kids are raised in that kind of environment, they usually grow up to repeat the behavior they see as normal or acceptable.
