A recent incident was caught on video after a thug decided to bully and prey on the helpless. Unfortunately for him, it would only be after he sucker punched a homeless man that he found out exactly who he’d just hit. It’s safe to say, he learned the hard way just who he was messing with.
The disturbing occurrence reportedly took place on the streets of Victorville, California, when a group of people gathered at a bus station. Although it’s unclear why someone decided to start recording, once the video clicks on, viewers quickly become aware of the situation.
For reasons still unknown, a thug apparently thought that it would be appropriate to sucker punch a homeless man – but he’d quickly realize his mistake. As it turns out, he had just punched a man who social media is speculating to be former NFL offensive lineman Chris Brymer.
With a massive blow to the head, Brymer dropped the bully, resulting in cheers from the crowd. Not wanting to lose the fight, the aggressor got back up and continued swinging, only to be knocked down once again.
Unfortunately, it seems as though Brymer may be suffering from a medical condition known as chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE). For those unaware, CTE is a condition that arises from being hit in the head too many times (commonly found among lifetime football players) and results in a degradation of the mind and cognitive abilities.
With LA Weekly reporting that Brymer has been homeless and arrested several times in the past, there is a good chance that this is in fact the man in question. Although CTE can only be diagnosed during an autopsy after death, whatever the case may be, it’s clear this man needs help.
As for the idiot who though it would be a good idea to sucker punch a homeless man on the pretense that he was helpless, well, let’s just hope he thinks about things twice before doing so again. After all, you never know when a former NFL football player is going to stand up and knock your socks off.
