Rashida Tlaib was caught by conservative reporters right after the State of the Union address, and of course, they wanted to know if she still wanted to “impeach the mother-f*cker.” Tlaib didn’t miss a beat as she proudly said, “Absolutely.” She then said, “I’m a lawyer,” and went into her “genius” plan to take out the president. Well, she was made to regret it. You’ll love this.
Rep. Tlaib is best known as one of the first Muslim Congresswomen. That was until she was caught on video after she won the election, telling her young son, “We will impeach the mother-f*cker.” That infamous video went viral and put Tlaib on the radar as a possible troublemaker for President Trump.
Well, she is living up to being a troublemaker. Her Twitter feed is full of leftist nonsense and downright offensive content. She was so proud to wear the pin of an alleged illegal alien kid who died at the border. Absent from the Muslim Congresswoman’s lapel were any pins of the thousands of Americans who have been murdered by illegal aliens.

Well, as horrible is it is that the little illegal alien girl was horribly ill and beyond the best medical treatment the United States had to offer, Americans aren’t dying from bad decisions their parents are making to lug them on an ill-advised 3,000-mile journey. Americans were murdered and will be murdered until we can build the wall and institute adequate border security.
That brings us to the Michigan Congresswoman’s comments after the State of the Union. The Daily Caller News Foundation asked her after Trump’s State Of The Union if she still believed Trump should be impeached.
Tlaib at first began to dodge the question, saying, “The fact that we have somebody who is a sitting CEO in the White House is a conflict of interest. So, for instance, we have the shutdown and you have a D.C. hotel — Trump hotel. The Trump organization still has park rangers at the historic post office for tourism, but we don’t have our national parks open. There must be — there’s a conflict there.” She added for good measure, “I’m a lawyer.”
“Well, the shutdown’s over,” the Daily Caller reporter said. “We’re here — the State of the Union just happened, so should he be impeached?” While trying to run away from the question, she said, “Absolutely!”
Now, what in the heck is this new talking point the far-left Democrats have dug up as their shiny “gotcha” point to impeach Trump? They are citing the “emoluments clause.” In fact, Tlaib just wrote an entire article on it in the Detroit Free Press.
“We already have overwhelming evidence that the president has committed impeachable offenses, including, just to name a few: obstructing justice; violating the emoluments clause; abusing the pardon power,” Tlaib wrote. She goes on spewing utter nonsense that no real attorney would take seriously. She has zero evidence.
Tlaib added, “Directing or seeking to direct law enforcement to prosecute political adversaries for improper purposes; advocating illegal violence and undermining equal protection of the laws; ordering the cruel and unconstitutional imprisonment of children and their families at the southern border; and conspiring to illegally influence the 2016 election through a series of hush money payments.”
Now that the Democrats know Robert Mueller isn’t going to fulfill their fantasy of having any credible case again the president, nutjobs like Tlaib are pushing this little-known Constitutional clause. So what is it? Thanks to Donald Trump’s sprawling global business empire, the leftists are pushing the foreign-emoluments clause (Article I, Section 9, Clause 8) to oust Trump:
No title of nobility shall be granted by the United States: and no person holding any office of profit or trust under them, shall, without the consent of the Congress, accept of any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any king, prince, or foreign state.
“It was chiefly aimed at the practice among European royalty of lavishing gifts on foreign diplomats, but it was written to cover all federal officers,” the National Review reports. “This was written at a time when Europe was full of monarchies and the Founding Fathers wanted to make sure no foreign influence would affect our representatives.”
“Potential violations rarely get farther than the Office of Legal Counsel, which in 2009 advised President Obama that his Nobel Peace Prize (a gratuitous gift if ever there was one) did not violate the clause since the Nobel committee is not a foreign sovereign,” added the National Review.
So when the Congresswoman said, “The Trump organization still has park rangers at the historic post office for tourism, but we don’t have our national parks open. There must be — there’s a conflict there,” she sees this as a violation of the emoluments clause. And it’s pathetic at best.
The notion Trump benefited in any real way by having park rangers working at his property when the national parks were closed, has nothing to do with a foreign power. Tlaib has also claimed foreigners may be staying at Trump Tower and they are paying so that’s a violation. It’s a ridiculous claim that will never be considered by any real Constitutional scholar. Even if they are foreign sovereigns staying at a Trump hotel (highly unlikely) they are paying customers, thus there is no violation.
Get ready for more nonsense over the next two years. Rep. Tlaib is clearly suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome and she fancies herself a really smart lawyer. Luckily, President Trump has a team of the most high-powered attornies in the country, and they have made sure these leftist losers have no case to impeach Trump.
