Trey Gowdy Goes Full ‘Bulldog’ On Warren — She’ll Never Drink Another Beer Again

During a Monday night appearance on Fox News’ “The Story With Martha MacCallum,” former Republican South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy went full “bulldog” on Elizabeth Warren. Now, she’ll never drink another beer again, least of all in a staged and corny Instagram Live video.

Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren took a parting shot at former Republican South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy over his future career endeavors, sharing a story on Twitter outlining Gowdy’s plans after serving four terms in the House.

Warren captioned the link: “[Trey Gowdy] foamed at the mouth with power in Congress, then retired because he claimed he didn’t enjoy it. Now it’s clear: Trey Gowdy just wanted a fat lobbyist paycheck. That should be illegal.”

Of course, Trey Gowdy took offense, tweeting back at her, “I’m not lobbying. Not now. Or ever. Perhaps you were cracking open a beer when that was announced. Don’t mind your criticisms. Just be more sensitive to facts.”

His insinuation that perhaps Elizabeth Warren was “cracking open a beer” was a shot at the Senator’s recent Instagram Live video, in which she made a pathetic attempt to appear relatable to voters by drinking a beer in her kitchen on New Year’s Eve.

Elizabeth Warren opted for a beer while talking to her followers on social media the same day she announced her intention to run for president in 2020 against President Donald Trump.

Senator Elizabeth Warren, the Massachusetts Democrat and a sharp critic of big banks and unregulated capitalism, entered the 2020 race for president on Monday, becoming the first major candidate in what is likely to be a long and crowded primary marked by ideological and generational divisions in a Democratic Party determined to beat President Trump.

Ms. Warren quickly made plans to campaign this weekend in Iowa, which holds the first-in-the-nation presidential caucuses in February 2020. The senator, who has not traveled to Iowa recently, announced Tuesday that she would visit several of the state’s major cities: Des Moines, Council Bluffs, Storm Lake and Sioux City. Trey Gowdy joked about Warren’s Instagram Live video from last week during his Monday night appearance on Fox News’ “The Story With Martha MacCallum.”

“I’m not a lobbyist,” said Gowdy. “I’m not going to be a fat lobbyist. I will not be a skinny lobbyist, a plus-sized one and I’m not lobbying at all. That is a factual matter. All she had to do if she really wanted to know, she could have called me. Most of her Senate colleagues have my cell phone number, she could say, ‘Hey, what are you going to do? I’m getting ready to criticize you.'”

He added, “She is running for president of the United States, and she kicks it off by making a demonstrably false allegation against a former colleague. I don’t get it.”

Gowdy then took aim at Warren’s embarrassing Instagram Live video, joking, “It sounded so natural. I was just struck by the authenticity and naturalness of that.”

The fact that Elizabeth Warren is now making disingenuous claims about her former colleague shouldn’t really surprise anyone. After all, this is the same woman who maintained that she was of Native American heritage for decades in order to obtain coveted jobs and career advancement.

We now know that Warren is no more Native American than your average white person, thanks to the results of a DNA test she underwent. She is a liar, plain and simple. Her incendiary lies against one of the greatest lawmakers of all time are just par for the course.
