Enjoy.)President Donald Trump issued warnings about threats posed by caravans of Central American migrants slowly heading north to illegally enter our country. However, a group of concerned American citizens is answering his call with the perfect response after Congress has repeatedly failed to fund the building of a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, a measure that would keep our citizens safe. You’re going to love this.
Last month, a group of migrants from Honduras planned to walk to the United States to enter the country illegally. As they organized, the group expanded to several thousand Central Americans who have been making their way north ever since. At times the caravan decreased in size, and at other times, it grew.
While the exact number of marchers is unknown beyond rough estimates, there is no doubt that an alarming number of undocumented immigrants — some of them violent criminals and dangerous gang members — are currently headed for the U.S. border.
President Donald Trump has classified the caravan as an “invasion,” causing the mainstream media and the political left to lose their minds, even though it is hard to come to any other conclusion upon seeing the images of illegal immigrants headed for the border.
Trump has made it clear that he does not want the group to enter the United States without using the proper legal channels. In response to the caravan, the president has vowed to strip the funding of Central American countries that fail to stop the migrants from leaving. Still, these countries have largely been unsuccessful at thwarting the caravan.
Mexico has seemingly done more than any other country, though, offering the migrants housing, healthcare, and access to education if only they stay put instead of progressing toward the United States. The migrants, however, have refused.
“To those in the Caravan, turnaround, we are not letting people into the United States illegally. Go back to your Country and if you want, apply for citizenship like millions of others are doing!” President Trump tweeted. “Full efforts are being made to stop the onslaught of illegal aliens from crossing our Southern Border. People have to apply for asylum in Mexico first, and if they fail to do that, the U.S. will turn them away. The courts are asking the U.S. to do things that are not doable!”

According to IJR, Trump has made it clear that safety is his biggest concern surrounding the caravan, pointing to the fact that U.S. officials have not had the opportunity to vet any of the people in it. In response, the president declared the issue a “national emergency” and deployed troops to help secure the border.
“Many Gang Members and some very bad people are mixed into the Caravan heading to our Southern Border,” Trump tweeted. “Please go back, you will not be admitted into the United States unless you go through the legal process. This is an invasion of our Country and our Military is waiting for you!”

While the military will certainly play a role in stopping the caravan, many civilians are ready to help out, as well. The Texas Minutemen and other armed civilian militias are heading to the border and preparing to assist in any way necessary against the invasion of illegals.
“We’ll observe and report, and offer aid in any way we can,” said Shannon McGauley, a bail bondsman in the Dallas suburbs who is president of the Texas Minutemen. “We’ve proved ourselves before, and we’ll prove ourselves again.”
While McGauley will be heading to the border in the coming days, he surmises that at least 100 others are en route, too. “I can’t put a number on it,” he said. “My phone’s been ringing nonstop for the last seven days. You got other militias, and husbands and wives, people coming from Oregon, Indiana. We’ve even got two from Canada.”
