Fed-up Trump Explodes On CNN’s Acosta After Seeing What He Did To Female Aide

President Donald Trump did a huge favor for the White House press corps when he personally came out and held a press conference today. After he started taking questions, immediately CNN’s Jim Acosta made a scene when he wouldn’t sit down after having his turn. Then, he turned his belligerence on a White House female staffer. That was enough for President Trump, who exploded on Acosta, and it didn’t end well for poor Jim.

Jim Acosta just can’t stop making the news about himself. But, today, he went too far. What transpired during the White House press conference with President Trump far surpasses anything the CNN reporter has done in the past.

Breitbart reports, “President Donald Trump chided CNN reporter Jim Acosta during a White House press conference Wednesday afternoon, calling him a ‘rude, terrible person’ for hogging the microphone to share his opinion on multiple topics.”

As Acosta set out to “challenge” Trump on the statements that the president made at the tail end of the campaign in the midterms, Trump said, “Here we go.” When Acosta asked about Trump calling the migrant caravan an “invasion,” Trump said, “I consider it to be an invasion.”

Acosta piped in, “As you know, Mr. President, the caravan was not an invasion. It’s a group of migrants moving up from Central America towards the border with the U.S. … Why did you characterize that as such?”

“Because I consider it an invasion. You and I have a difference of opinion,” Trump said calmly.

“Do you think you demonized immigrants?” Acosta replied.

Trump responded forcefully, saying, “No, I want them to come into the country. But, they have to come in legally. They have to come in, Jim, through a process. I want it to be a process. And, I want people to come in. And, we need the people.”

Acosta then questioned an ad the Trump campaign released featuring migrants climbing over gates and walls. “They were not actors,” Trump said, “They didn’t come from Hollywood.”

Acosta cut in again, saying, “They are hundreds of miles away. That is not an invasion.”

Trump, showing frustration, raised his tone at Acosta. “Honestly, I think that you should let me run the country,” the president shot back. “You run CNN. And, if you did it well, your ratings would be much higher.”

Acosta asked for another question, but Trump said, “That’s enough.”

At that point, a White House staffer attempted to grab the microphone, but Acosta held onto the mic and would not let her take it from him, physically blocking her with his arm. That really set the president off, who watched as the staffer had to relent while Acosta hogged the mic and yelled about the “Russia investigation.”

A combative Acosta kept yelling about Russia, and Trump heard enough. “I am not concerned about anything with the Russian investigation because it is a hoax. That’s enough. Put down the mic,” Trump demanded.

“I tell you what, CNN should be ashamed of itself, having you working for them. You are a rude, terrible person,” Trump said in disgust. “You shouldn’t be working for CNN. You are a very rude person. The way that you treat Sarah Huckabee is horrible. And, the way that you treat other people are horrible. You shouldn’t treat people that way.”

The president took questions from Acosta. When the leader of the free world says he is done speaking with you, then you give up the mic. You don’t refuse and physically block a White House aide from doing her job.

Where are all the leftists calling out Acosta for his disrespect of this woman? Instead, they cover for the blatantly out of control CNN pundit. “This President’s ongoing attacks on the press have gone too far,” CNN said in a statement sent out on Twitter.

What about CNN’s attacks on President Donald Trump? They can dish it out, but they cry foul when Trump gives it right back to them.

They added, “They are not only dangerous, they are disturbingly un-American. While President Trump has made it clear he does not respect a free press, he has a sworn obligation to protect it. A free press is vital to democracy and we stand behind Jim Acosta and his fellow journalists everywhere.”

Bad manners and physically blocking an aide while trying to hijack the press conference isn’t a right Jim Acosta or any other journalist should be bestowed. He is not the president. He is a bully. And, it seems like the time has come to rethink his position. Perhaps booting him for good might be the appropriate thing to do.
