Enjoy.)On Tuesday evening, President Donald Trump addressed the nation regarding the ongoing government shutdown, imploring Democrats to fund a border wall that will keep dangerous illegal immigrants from entering the country. As he spoke from the Oval Office, many eagle-eyed viewers noticed the “secret message” Trump had left behind him.
As President Donald Trump delivered his nationally televised address on the ongoing government shutdown from the Oval Office on Tuesday night, many eagle-eyed viewers noticed that he had switched up the decor behind the Resolute Desk in preparation for the speech.
Trump spoke against the backdrop of gold-colored curtains, the flags of the United States and the Presidential Seal, and some personal items. On the far left side of the credenza behind him, a collection of military challenge coins could be seen.
These coins are often produced by members of the military as well as agencies of law enforcement and fire departments.
The coins, which often bear unique mottos or insignia, are meant to foster unity within the departments or individual units.

On the right side of the credenza, the president had arranged three family photos: a portrait of his father, real estate developer Fred Trump, another of his mother, Mary Anne Trump, and a family photo showing the president with his wife, Melania, and their young son, Barron.
The last photo was taken in January 2016, ten months before he defeated Hillary Clinton in the presidential election.

The message Trump was sending with these items was unmistakable: Family is important, and too many American families are being ripped apart by the violence which unbridled illegal immigration brings to our country. The Democrats may be decrying the policy of separating families at the border, but there are American families who have been permanently separated from their own loved ones, killed by illegal aliens.
“America proudly welcomes millions of lawful immigrants who enrich our society and contribute to our nation. But all Americans are hurt by uncontrolled, illegal migration,” said the president. “Our southern border is a pipeline for vast quantities of illegal drugs including meth, heroin, cocaine, and fentanyl.”
“Every week 300 of our citizens are killed by heroin alone, 90 percent of which floods across from our southern border,” added Trump. “More Americans will die from drugs this year than were killed in the entire Vietnam War. In the last two years, ICE officers made 266,000 arrests of aliens with criminal records including those charged or convicted of 100,000 assaults, 30,000 sex crimes, and 4000 violent killings.”
“Over the years thousands of Americans have been brutally killed by those who illegally entered our country and thousands more lives will be lost if we don’t act right now,” said the president. “This is a humanitarian crisis, a crisis of the heart and a crisis of the soul.”
Quite frankly, there is no reason not to build a border wall. Those who oppose it are standing in the way of what is best for Americans, and they’re doing so for no other reason than because they don’t like President Donald Trump. Sadly, they’re willing to put their own political agenda ahead of the safety and security of American citizens everywhere.
