President Donald Trump greets his supporters after landing in Palm Beach, Florida.

On Thursday night, President Donald Trump landed in Palm Beach, Florida, to begin Easter weekend with his seventh trip to Mar-a-Lago since taking office. Immediately, witnesses noticed what was right behind the 45th President of the United States.

Trump was joined at the airport by First Lady Melania Trump, who flew to Palm Beach separately with the couple’s son, Barron, and several of the president’s adult children. Donald Trump Jr, Eric Trump, and Tiffany Trump will be spending the Easter holiday in Florida with the family. Meanwhile, Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, and their three children have been observing Passover, which began on Monday, at Four Seasons Whistler in Canada.

Trump always receives a warm welcome in Florida, and his Thursday arrival was no different as enthusiastic supporters greeted him, waving American flags and sporting “Make America Great Again” t-shirts. It appears that the president spent his Friday getting some much-needed rest and relaxation.

Trump had no public appearance scheduled for Friday, and was reported as having driven from Mar-a-Lago to the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach Friday morning.

Trump and his family are expected to attend Easter service at the Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea, where the president and first lady were married in 2005 and where they attended Christmas service.

Trump is smart to get his family time in while he can, as his Easter holiday will likely be interrupted by tensions with North Korea, which appears to be moving towards conducting a nuclear weapons test on Saturday.

With Trump working diligently to contain the totalitarian regime of dictator Kim Jong-un, it is possible the United States could launch a preemptive strike against North Korea to prevent such a test from moving forward, although it remains to be seen how the president and his military advisors will handle the escalating situation.

North Korean Vice Minister Han Song Ryol told the Associated Press on Friday that “we will go to war” if the U.S. should launch a preemptive strike. “If the U.S. comes with reckless military maneuvers then we will confront it with the DPRK’s preemptive strike,” said Han. “We’ve got a powerful nuclear deterrent already in our hands, and we certainly will not keep our arms crossed in the face of a U.S. preemptive strike.”

Hopefully, even in spite of all this turmoil, President Trump will be able to enjoy the Easter holiday surrounded by his wife and children at Mar-a-Lago. He has been working tirelessly to fix the dire global situation Barack Obama left him saddled with; if anyone deserves a break, it’s our hard-working Commander-in-Chief!
