After Calling Trump “Motherf*cker,” Muslim Rep Gets The Last News She Expected

Last week, Muslim Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) went viral for referring to President Donald Trump as a “mother*cker.” If she thought this would increase her popularity, however, she was just handed the last news she ever expected.

One week ago, newly-installed Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) made history as the first Palestinian-American to be sworn into Congress. She also set a precedent for what is perhaps the most unethical behavior we have seen from a sitting lawmaker, referring to the President of the United States as a “motherf*cker”:

Tlaib was celebrated Thursday by Democrats and the media as the first Palestinian-American member of Congress, and one of the two first Muslim women in Congress.

She took her oath of office on a Koran owned by President Thomas Jefferson and wore a traditional Palestinian robe (“thobe”) to the swearing-in and first session in the House.

Later that evening, however, she appeared at a reception hosted by the far-left MoveOn.org organization, and declared — to the cheers of those present: “We’re gonna impeach that motherfuck**r.” [Source: Breitbart]

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders had some harsh words for Tlaib after her profanity-laced rant against the president went viral, telling “Fox & Friends” on Friday morning, “You will not impeach this president.”

“You will not impeach this president when he had two of the most successful years any president had in modern history,” Sanders said bluntly. “The only reason they come after this president is because they know they can’t beat us, can’t beat him when it comes to policy debate. They have no solutions for America.”

“People are sick and tired of playing politics,” Sarah continued. “That is not what America is looking for. That is not the goodness of our country. I hope some of these new faces that campaigned on being different and being a change will actually come here to work with the president, work for solutions, work to help the American people, not to help their own political careers.”

The bad news for Tlaib didn’t stop there, though. In response to her incendiary stunt, a petition was started on WhiteHouse.gov calling for her removal from Congress on the grounds of her “unstable actions” which suggest she is not fit to be a U.S. lawmaker.

“Do to Rashida Tlaib actions and profanity, she is unfit to be a congresswoman,” the petition states. “Her rude display and lack of respect for our sitting President was uncalled for. Her immediate removal from her seat is just and warranted. Due to her hatred towards our president, I feel she is a national security threat.”

It has received more than the required 100,000 signatures to garner an official response from the White House.

It certainly is telling that in her very first week as a congresswoman, Rashida Tlaib alienated more than 100,000 people with her rhetoric. The political left has resorted to these name-calling tactics because they have no solutions to offer America, and they are dead set against working with the president, even if it ultimately benefits their constituents.

Take, for example, the current debate surrounding border security. This was an issue which prominent Democrats were once behind whole-heartedly. Not until President Trump took office did they decide that we should withhold funding for an impenetrable border wall.

Sadly, the Democrats have absent-mindedly elected a Congress which hates the president more than they love their country. Ultimately, this will only hurt the party and help Republicans come election time in 2020. If the Democrats refuse to set aside petty partisan politics in order to make progress for the American people, they will only have themselves to blame when they are voted out of office.
