Trump’s Southern Border Wall Isn’t Enough, Americans Now Pushing For 2nd Wall

In the battle to save American jobs, President Donald Trump has scored one win after another. He’s done the impossible to secure the manufacturing industry in the United States. But his allies are saying new measures must be taken to protect millions of jobs that continue to bleed away.

Many Americans are calling for the wall. The thousands-mile-long barrier across the U.S./Mexico border is meant to prevent illegal aliens and criminals from entering the country. While Democrats and some Republicans are against it, we see every day why we need a secure border.

On a frequent basis, illegal immigrants try to cross into the United States. We know the danger that poses. Aside from threats from terrorist groups and drug cartels, illegal aliens damage our jobs market. Illegal laborers take jobs from Americans, as they are willing to work for low wages and no benefits.

Tighter physical security will limit how many aliens sneak over the border. Over time, that can ensure more jobs for Americas at better wages.

But there is another crisis on our hands — the loss of jobs overseas. Trump is already winning trade deals that will bring factories back to the United States. But millions of jobs continue to bleed to foreign nations, depriving Americans of work.

Bringing back factories won’t save these jobs. In fact, only new tactics can ensure these positions aren’t being taken by workers in far-off lands. Some Trump supporters have called for a new virtual wall that will prevent white collar and tech jobs from vanishing.

Attorney Sara Blackwell — who represents American workers who are having their jobs threatened by outsourcing — says President Trump can implement a “virtual wall” to end multinational corporations’ business model of offshoring U.S. jobs to foreign countries…

Blackwell said the U.S. needs a policy that bans multinational corporations from sending Americans’ data overseas…

“If we put up a virtual wall around our borders and said, ‘None of our private data can go overseas, ever,’ all of those jobs would have to come back, they would all have to come back,” Blackwell said.

“And so we would have so many jobs back in the U.S. and not only that, if we wanted to do … if a company in Europe wanted to sell clothes to someone in America, they’d have to have an office here in the U.S. because our credit card information can’t go overseas. So we would add so many jobs to the United States,” Blackwell said. [Source: Breitbart]

It sounds like an extreme measure, but understand the situation as it stands now. Many tech companies, including Apple, Microsoft, Google, and Facebook, are sending good jobs to foreign countries like India. White collar workers in America lose jobs to temporary visitors who get trained to do their job. These visitors take good-paying jobs with them back to their native lands.

It’s a strategy highly-prized by Silicon Valley, which strongly supported Hillary Clinton in 2016. That’s right, if Democrats had their way, we’d lose both blue collar jobs and white-collar jobs. Um, then what kind of jobs would be left?

The virtual wall concept is simple, but it will have powerful results. Protecting American data would make it impossible for companies to outsource jobs overseas. That’s because these jobs deal with sensitive data of customers and companies. The “wall” would prevent this information from leaving the United States, thus ensuring American workers will be able to keep their jobs.

Blackwell also called out IBM CEO Ginni Rometty — a multinational corporation that now employs more Indian nationals than American workers — for hiking her own salary while laying off thousands of Americans to send their jobs to India…

“I mean it’s like, can we please just everybody pay attention to what’s really happening? I have spoken to thousands of IBM workers who have been fired — not only in the U.S. but all over the world — because they don’t want to pay real wages,” Blackwell said. [Source: Breitbart]

This virtual wall might not only be helpful but absolutely necessary in the coming future. With more and more of our lives becoming digital, the protection of our data is of the highest priority. Hackers, terrorists, and criminal organizations aggressively seek to steal American’s information. Many of these criminals work outside the country.

A virtual wall will not only protect American jobs but prevent many attempts at identity theft. But will it become a reality? Share this story if you think it’s time Trump built a virtual wall.
