A Mexican man recorded his niece sobbing as her illegal alien father was arrested by immigration officials, spreading the video to shame supporters of President Donald Trump for “breaking up families.” However, shortly after he released the now viral clip, witnesses revealed that the videographer forgot to mention one very important detail.
Footage of an arrest for deportation is circulating the web as liberals attempt to utilize its emotion-inducing content to claim that President Trump is extraditing innocent migrants. Likewise, they are using the incident to shame Trump supporters for “breaking up families” of helpless victims who are merely trying to make better lives for themselves in our nation. Unfortunately for them, their liberal agenda just backfired after a police report surfaced that completely debunks their fake news.
Robert Espino uploaded cell phone footage to Facebook on Tuesday, claiming that Texas officers were arresting his poor brother in front of the man’s young daughter for nothing more than being an “undocumented immigrant.” While illegal immigration is enough to warrant arrest and deportation, Espino hoped to incite the left once more against Trump and his supporters.
In the video, Espino can be heard crying, “This is for all you motherf***ers who voted for Trump, breaking up families and s***,” while recording his distraught niece sobbing over her father. He adds that the arresting officers are “f***ing with families” instead of trying to “catch real f***ing criminals.”
What Espino conveniently fails to mention is that his brother is indeed a criminal beyond his illegal entry to the U.S. In fact, the man in question is 35-year-old Eduardo Diaz Escobedo, a convicted child rapist.
The DeSoto Police Department shared the arrest report, which involves one other illegal immigrant, Marin Marquez Linares, who is Espino’s brother-in-law and has illegally entered the U.S. twice, according to BizPac Review.
“On Feb. 29, 2000, a Denton County (Texas) Criminal Court convicted Diaz Escobedo of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child for which he received a sentence of eight years deferred adjudication. On March 22, 2017, ICE officers determined that Diaz Escobedo had an outstanding arrest warrant for a probation violation related to this conviction. Consequently, Diaz Escobedo was transferred to the Denton County Jail. ICE placed an immigration detainer on him so that he will be transferred to ICE custody following disposition of his criminal charges,” the press release read.
“Marquez Linares was deported Dec. 16, 2007. He illegally re-entered the United States sometime after being deported, which is a felony. Marquez Linares is currently in ICE custody pending his removal to Mexico,” it added.
The press release sheds light on Espino’s lies after he falsely conveyed that his arrested relatives are the real victims.
“My brother and brother in law were cuffed and taken away from their families they are not drug dealers, rapist, thieves, not even a traffic ticket,” he wrote in the description of the video. “They leave behind wives, sons and daughters. This what Donald J. Trump supporters wanted, to see families torn apart because of where you’re born.”
Ironically, Espino claimed that his brother, who was convicted and served prison time for raping a minor, isn’t a “rapist.” Now that his criminal history surfaced, we can finally expose the liberal outlets that are spreading this without the full report as the fake news they claim to be combating.
While Barack Obama deported mostly children and vulnerable families without a word from the left, Trump is kicking out violent and devious criminals only for liberal protesters to vehemently decry his enforcement of the law. Obama deported 2.5 million people, yet there was no international movement against him nor were liberal judges attempting to block him from doing so. Fortunately, President Trump doesn’t seem to care what the shrieking leftists demand when it comes to citizens being endangered and national security at risk.
