President Donald Trump made history (again) by signing an agreement with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. Among much of the news coming out, we’ve discovered the video Trump showed that may have clinched the deal — and what Trump promised Kim that he couldn’t resist.
The country of North Korea has been under strict communist rule since the end of the Korean War. Its people have been isolated from the outside world. Basic resources are scarce, as are modern conveniences and luxuries. On top of that, the people have suffered under a brutal dictatorship that denied them civil liberties.
Past leaders of the country were tyrants. They promised dominance around the world through military might. Most of North Korea’s resources were used to develop nuclear weapons. Meanwhile, generations of people lived in poverty and oppression.
Today marks a major milestone in world history. For the first time, a U.S. president met with the leader of North Korea. After decades of hostility and fear, the two nations are coming together. Signs are looking good that the United States and North Korea will put aside their conflict to form a partnership for the future — a partnership that will benefit both nations tremendously.
We have learned that Donald Trump, ever the statesmen and brilliant negotiator, wowed Kim Jong-un with a special video. This video, shown during one of their meetings, showcased just what kind of future North Korea could have — if it dropped its barriers to the world. In addition to that, President Trump inspired the leader with promises of serious developments inside DPRK.
Donald Trump said Tuesday that part of his hard sell to Kim Jong-un about giving up his nuclear weapons was a video that showed the benefits of shaking off the chains of near-global economic sanctions – including the possibility of developing his country’s beaches.
‘They have great beaches! You see that whenever they’re exploding the cannons into the ocean, right?’ Trump said after he played the dramatic, Hollywood-produced four minute video for the press corps.
‘So I said, “Boy, look at that beach. Wouldn’t that make a great condo behind–,” and I explained it,’ the real estate billionaire recalled.

Leave it to the real estate mogul Trump to focus on the beaches. It was a brilliant move. When the world saw footage of missiles firing into the air, Trump saw the potential of their shores. He enticed the North Korea leader with the very thing his nation needed: investment and capitalism.
It’s no secret that North Korea struggles to support its population. A thriving black market is the only way some people can get their basic necessities. This is largely due to sanctions brought on by their hostility — and the severe communist regime.
But the video Trump showed Kim reveals that all can change and a bright future is waiting for North Korea.
The video is truly impressive, and it is sure to inspire anyone, whose country is languishing in poverty. Imagine being Kim Jong-un. Your people suffering from a lack of resources and opportunity. Modern marvels like MRI machines are a fantasy. Even their soldiers don’t get enough to eat. Enter Donald Trump, who promises the world — if they only cooperate.
How long do you think it’ll take someone like Kim to agree?
This is why you should thank God every day that Trump is president. What we are seeing today would not have happened under any other leader. Certainly, Hillary Clinton would not have been able to win over a longtime enemy like North Korea. We would more likely be faced with war.
Instead, Trump got North Korea to agree to denuclearize. And he’s promising the country that America and other nations will invest big time. That is sure to come. North Korea is a blank slate — economically speaking. Outside nations have yet to work with them. Imagine the demand. From factories to resorts, North Korea is about to enjoy the fruit of modern capitalism, all thanks to one video from Trump.
