U.S. Exits Corrupt U.N. Agency, Fed-Up Nikki Haley Shows Them Who’s Boss

Nikki Haley may be leaving her post as a United Nations ambassador, but she’s certainly made her mark. During her time in the important role, she made a name for herself slamming the corrupt and dishonest world organization. Now, as the United States leaves one of the worst groups within the U.N., Haley gives them one final bow.

The corruption within the United Nations is one of the greatest tragedies of our modern times. This organization is supposed to foster peace and cooperation among the world’s greatest nations. Instead, it has become a den of thieves.

The U.N. is run by con men, much the same way our D.C. swamp is. People, hungry for power on a global level, exploit the U.N. for their own gain. Worst still, corrupt nations hold positions of power on numerous U.N. councils. They use their influence to block aid, progress, and intervention to other nations.

Many Americans believe the U.N. has outlived its usefulness. It has become a murky swamp of globalist crooks. Donald Trump long criticized the organization. During the campaign, he promised the United States would no longer bow to the corrupt leaders of the U.N.

We’ve seen him make good on his word. Through his ambassador Nikki Haley, the U.N. was frequently called out over its corruption, abuse of power, and squandering of resources. She especially slammed the “peace-loving” organization over its shocking treatment of Israel — the world’s only Jewish state and the Middle East’s only true democracy.

Last year, the United States announced it would be withdrawing from UNESCO, an agency within the U.N. frequently accused of corruption. This week, the U.S. and Israel are officially departing from the group.

Nikki Haley, soon to leave her post as ambassador, took the opportunity to slam this toxic organization one last time.

Nikki Haley, the exiting U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, issued a harsh assessment of UNESCO on Tuesday, one day after the United States and Israel officially quit the U.N. agency, alleging an anti-Israel bias…

Paris-based UNESCO, which supports various educational and cultural projects around the world, has been denounced by critics for criticizing Israel’s occupation of east Jerusalem, naming ancient Jewish sites as Palestinian heritage sites and granting full membership to Palestine in 2011.

Israeli U.N. envoy Danny Danon said Tuesday that his country “will not be a member of an organization whose goal is to deliberately act against us, and that has become a tool manipulated by Israel’s enemies…

The United Nations agencies — particularly UNESCO — have taken in hundreds of millions of dollars from the United States. These agencies squander our funds — taxpayer dollars — while ignoring our concerns. UNESCO, like much of the U.N., does little to foster democracy or peace around the world. Instead, it has been manipulated by enemies of the U.S. and Israel, while taking our money.

According to reports, UNESCO still wants $600 million from America and $10 million from Israel. Yeah, don’t hold your breath.

Under previous presidents, the U.S. just handed over this money. They didn’t demand the U.N. listen to our concerns or intentions. The U.N. thought it could exploit us for cash and do whatever it wanted. Those days are long over.

U.N. leadership is not so much interested in helping the world, but accruing more power and influence over it. It takes cash from prosperous nations, while refusing to acknowledge their needs and interests. The U.N. is used as a puppet by corrupt nations, including Iran, while abusing peaceful nations.

Haley’s tweet against UNESCO is blistering, but it’s factual. The group is supposed to spread educational around the world. Yet it was used as a tool to attack Israel. Someone explain to me how it had the right to do that?

But we still have much more to go with the U.N. Many Americans clamor for a complete withdrawal from the corrupt, global organization. We still give it millions, with little in return.

More Americans need to learn about what the U.N. is up to. And we should celebrate Haley for the hard work she’s done for this country.
